Zee TV no 3 all 3 channels drop

STAR Plus stalks Colors, Zee stalks STAR Plus

Colors held on to the number one spot in week 2, 2010, with 289 GRPs (TAM, HSM, CS 4+), just ahead of STAR Plus at 275 GRPs.

Zee was breathing down STAR Plus with 268 GRPs.

Sony dropped to 151 GRPs.

NDTV Imagine was at 91 GRPs, with SAB at 85

Is it? One week Zee was at 240 but it didn't affect Agle Janam. Till now the ratings have been stable and I hopeful it will be some other show that has dropped, not Agle Janam.

But I m not getting this...when I see top 10 shows which comes out daily..its mostly Zee shows ruling these days..Star Plus's most popular show bidaai is almost out of top 10 and even yeh rishta is suffering whereas I think top 5 shows in the top 10 chart belongs to Zee only followed by colors..then how come zee is coming third in the total GRPs race😳

I think Gur can explain this better.😆 He is the TRP master.😛 I just think the way aMap measures ratings to TAM is different. Otherwise I really don't know.

To be honest, I find these ratings a bit annoying, especially for us average viewers. As long as the show won't be pulled off in 6 months its fine.😛

Mitesh don't worry about Agle Janam..it might stay for another 2 yrs because its consistent in trp race even with the last track😲😆..so creatives won't end it before turning ShaLi into grandparents😆

Wow, something really did go wrong here😆. Maybe Cricket was the culprit.

Oh well i'm happy that Zee wasn't that much affected, unlike the other three and i'm sure all the shows have done well as Zee usually gets around 260-270, so it's just normal.

But Colors and Sony, they lost a big chunk!! Colors shows must have fallen a lot, and also no Ajab Ghajab Kahani this week😆. And Sony; don't know how long these YRF show will last now🤔.

aMap rating are totally different from TAM. They take different samples altogether, plus most of the their data is from North, West and East India. Yea most of time Zee is ahead there.

But this is by TAM, they have 8000 sample homes in most metros and also some small towns, a majority in metros though. Also the ratings that we see here are for Hindi Speaking Market hence HSM. Unlike aMap where it is N+W+E.

So yea they sort of do injustice, as they don't cover much rural India. But I have heard this year they are planning on launching it across many new smaller cites.

GRP is just Gross Rating Point, so the sum of all the trps that channel gained through the week.

I think Agle Janam should still be in the 3.6 to 4.2 range as usual. And for most of this week in aMap they had the 40 lakh+ ratings where Agle Janam is usually lower.
I think PR and JKR must have fallen
