i feel if loha has grudging respect for anyone it is lali. and if anyone can do anything good for lali it is loha since he doesnt care for the society's rules and regulations. but will he really make her his bahu...i guess not under the present circumstances.

Loha singh has met his match in Laali...when he brought her as daasi he did not know how this girl was going to stand up to him and make a huge positive change in Shekhar's life...

Laali is a strong willed young woman...she knows what is her right and not in her right...She has accepted the part she is supposed to play in Shekhar Thakur's life...

i think 2 things in the show has been indigestable. first of all loha poisoning shekhar. but then maybe he said that to scare lali. also is it not more than 15 days? and shekhar is hale and hearty.
secondly gangiya's plans of using her daughter to give a waris to the thakur family. what kind of mother is she? is it really her own daughter? and what does she plan to achieve even if her daughter gives waris. knowing loha will gangiya of all people get control of the haveli even if her daughter has waris for the thakur family?

I could be wrong here but I do think Loha feels a bit for Lalli (or as much as possible given the type of person he is), and respects her strength and will. I think he is secretly pleased at Shekhar's transformation into a stronger son, and Lalli's role in making this happen. I also think he has noticed her sacrifices for Shekhar.

Or do you think he could care less about Lalli? He wants a waaris, so he should be somewhat pleased, no?

I have no doubt about it!! Loha definitely (although he would probably never admit it) admires Laali for her spirit and fire. He probably feels grateful (if he can indeed feel such emotions) to Laali for bringing such a great transformation to his son Shekhar. He is farsighted in recognising the spirit in Laali during the goat incidence. He probably is secretly patting himself in the back! Note during the Laali dead episode how he spoke to his wife advising her to read the scriptures as it would teach her to be less attached. I felt that he understood what his wife was going through. He very likely felt the loss - recall how he walked away when it was presumed Laali was dead - it was not a 'i don't care walk' but rather a walk to get away from something that was painful. Yes, more than anyone, he probably understands how much Laali has sacrificed for Laali. I am certain that he feels for Laali and if he is pressing her over the waaris issue, it is because he knows she has it in her to deliver. But i think it has now gone beyond the waaris issue - it will be interesting to see Loha's own character development - the change that would surely be brought about - by none other than Laali herself.
