I was listening to the song ek radha ek meera from the movie ram teri ganga maili... and I kept thinking of laali and siddeshwari...
I found the lyrics and translation of it:

when I was listening to it, I had this sad thought that what if laali and shekhar never end up with one another...
she will always help him and fight for him...but they are not destined to be with one another...
maybe laali and shekar will have a tragic love story...
I dont mean to upset anyone or make anyone sad...
in fact, I'm hoping that this is not true and tht laali and shekhar fight against all odds and society norms and marry one another...
I just wanted to share this...because the song was stuck in my head...
