ranvijay says hes the oldest son and has taken responsibility for sid's good, gangiya gave her room back, he will see if shekhar gets all or not.
lali says to kaushalya she knows shekhar and sid have a relationship, she feels like shes sinning. kaushalya says lali is doing this to save shekhar's life, what is there to get worried, she has to make shekhar realize he loves her, and that can happen when they stay together, that is her work. lali says its her work, as a dasi. lali is ripping veggies. kaushalya says its easy to say but hard to do, she must feel alone, bhagban is with her, her clean mind is the reason for protection, and her love who she will leave after the work is done, will always be with her as her strength, shes not alone.

lali is walking outside. gangiya asks lali where shes going, who will wash the things. lali sees the pails of water. gangiya says to lali she cant go to khet. lali starts cleaning the pails and thinks why is gangiya so happy seeing her do this.
a man moves the wooden fence on the land and signals the other men.
lali sees ranvijay with gangiya. ranvijay leaves. lali thinks is ranvijay playing a game.
the men make cattle walk all over the land. they also hit the soil with sticks.
lali carries the things and sees gangiya sitting. lali takes the things inside.
shekhar tells sid the papers are fine. sid asks him if he read it properly. sid tries to sign but the pen doesnt work. sid goes to get another pen and cant find any.
lali gives the maid the things. lali sees gangiya talking to someone and thinks about gangiya saying lali cant go to the fields. lali thinks is this about the khet. lali goes. gangiya says where is lali running.
the men see lali coming and hide. lali sees the cattle walking on the land. lali tries to lead the cattle out.
sid signs the papers and says her hands are tired of signing. shekhar is looking out the window. sid spills water on the papers and says the papers are bad now and for him to help her. shekhar starts to help sid. a man calls shekhar outside and says there are cattle on the land and lali is there alone. sid tells shekhar her papers. shekhar says her papers can go to hell. shekhar leaves. gangiya looks on.
lali gets the cattle out. only 1 cow is left over. it begins to charge at lali.
gangiya tries to stop shekhar by saying hes going to the crazy girl. shekhar pushes her away and leaves. gangiya says satyanas. ranvijay watches from the balcony.
the cow charges at lali. lali runs. the cow hits lali who falls.
