Ratan paying the price of popularity?
As Laali in Agle Janam…Ratan Rajput may be enjoying all the attention from the viewers but this has become the bone of contention for her co-actors. Apparently, her co-actors who are also veterans are not too happy with the actress being in constant limelight. According to the sources on the sets, Ratan who is trying hard to be friendly and cordial with her co-actors finds no reciprocation.
Informs a source, "Ratan is indeed feeling the heat from her co-actors. She is the central character on the show but off - screen she is side-lined by her co-actors. Apparently, the actors are not happy with her hogging all the media attention. This fact hasn't gone down well with the actors, a few of them who also happen to be seasoned actors. Such behaviour is expected when you have veterans and popular young actors. They all want to overpower each other."
Talking about the buzz doing the rounds that Sachal Tyagi (Rannvijay) and Sudesh Berry (Loha Singh) too can't see eye- to- eye with each other, our source says, "This is not true. Loha had to be eased out of the show for the track as had he been present one could not have the finger chopping sequence. He wouldn't allow something like that to happen to Laali or his son as the two have to bear the heir apparent. Infact only Ranvijay could do such a track."
Sukriti Khandpal however rubbished the rumours of any bad blood between Ratan and other actors. Says she, "This is rubbish and there is no truth to these rumours."
We also spoke to Abhishek Rawat but he too agreed with Sukriti's viewpoint. He said, "There is no truth to this rumour. We are very good friends and this is a figment of your imagination."
We called the lady in question, Ratan who said, "This is untrue and they are all nice to me."
With sources on the show and onlookers confirming the buzz, one wonders how long can the actors fake it. Must say the show has one helluva talented actors.
