Why is Gangiya's character so disgusting?

Sushmita Mukherjee keeps on making the same face and she looks so dirty, she's basically behaving like a brothel owner trying to palm off someone (her own child?) to one of the Thakurs. Why show such a one dimensional disgusting character? She is such a good actress, being wasted.

Well then according to you she is doing an Amazing Awesome Superb Job as a Good Actress for this character. She is playing a role as in all actors/actresses they have to conform to that character in order to make it work for the audience. So far she is doing an exceptional job as with all the actors/actresses in this show. She is showing all that her character is. Like with many characters on this show. This seems to be a challenging character to play and she is working it very well indeed.

I don't think Gangiya is a one dimensional character. Ive never seen a character with so many faces, she is so sweet and dutiful in front of Kauhalya and manipulative with Ranvijay. She is so complex and cunning you don't know what else she is going to pull. Gangiya is one of the best vamps ive seen on tv. There is a lot more to come out about her.
