I think their relationship is very complex. Thakur rules the household by taking advantage of the family's weaknesses and rules by his "mard" power. Thakur makes the Thakurain do things in the name of what is good for the family. And Thakurain shows us that she has a heart by taking care of Shekhar and even being nice to Laali. She is torn between her duty for her husband and keeping the peace in the family.

What do you guys think of Thakur and Thakurain's relationship?

Though she is a thakurayin ,She's only a glorified 'slave' under her Husband's dictatorship..... Well,I Think they've shown it 100% correct, these things reeeeeeeeeeeeally happen............ in many parts of India (N even in developed countries) Women have little Or No power, they're just 'live showpieces'!!😭

I think both thakur and thakurani portray their role very well!! this is what actually happens in India. the royal upper class women are limited to taking care of the house, they don't have any other rights.
and today even Ranvijay shut thakurani up, so she has a very little say.

I think Loha is very cruel to his wife, but he does love her from inside. It's just that he behaves differently with her.

He never shows love to her - he just told her that she is beautiful but in a demeaning way!

Well Said. Even now you hear stories of this happening in all classes of society from the poor to the rich. Its how they're taught and is passed down from generation to generation. Will this change in the future well if it hasn't now I doubt it will.

Welcome Vignette to IF and the Agle Janam section.
What do I think? Loha creates wounds and the Thakurian tries to heal them, but the amount of medicine she can use is limited.

Thanks for the welcome! I also think Thakur goes around creating problems and Thakurayin tries to heal everything. I think they both know that they love eachother, however twisted it may be. For example, Thakurayin got very emotional when telling Thakur that the worst thing for a wife is to take her husband away from her. And ofcourse, Thakur used it to his advantage by kicking Siddheswari in the kothari!

being in such a royal family people might think the female have all luxuries of life....it's true but they never receive any care from the male side....it is well portrayed in the serial and if people are aware of the fact and change this routine way of treating women then only will this improve...

todays generation is so modern in thinking unfortunately like the sons of thakur...they do not have much power to over throw the decision of thakur...maybe when this generation of people become the thakurs then only things will change....but it would be a longgggggggg wait...
