Part 1:
dai tells the people to hurry and pick up the things. dai hides and throws the fruit, takes the bangle and puts it on and the gifts. lali comes and says to dai she has to return all this. dai taunts lali she is lucky to get all this. lali holds out her hands. dai gives the things. lali sees the fruit and remembers how dadaji said amrit is not for everyone, some people have to take poison. lali takes the fruit and stuff and walks away. dai takes out a sari and says she let it all get away.
shekhar throws paint on lali portrait. shekhare remembers how loha singh insulted sid and told sid to give lali her sindoor. shekhar says he wont let this happen. shekhar remembers how ranvijay told him he can leave the house. loha's and ranvijay's words ring in his ear.
Part 2:
kaushalya remembers what the ladies said at the pooja. lali comes with the stuff. lali says she cant come inside but came to give this back. kaushlya says thisis for her. lali says she did the rasams and pooja, things for bhagban, but all this is for the pundit or the malik of the heir and to keep the things. kaushlya says this is for her. lali says she isnt a devi, but a rasi and to stay like this and there is unhappiness. kaushalya says no one will say anything after a few days. loha says to lali she will get used to it, the things should be kept as the rules of the haveli and to share some time with shekhar. lali leaves. loha says she is sure lali will do his work. loha walks away.
labhli asks rekha if shes sad about lali and ganesiya. rekha thinks about how they were trying to force her to marry ganesiya. some ladies ask rekha about her sasural.
Part 3:
majri and nanku come. the ladies ask about rekha's sasural and if they like the guy. rekha runs away. the ladies say rekha is so shy. majri says the work will happen. nanku says the village people can forget but can they. labhli consoles rekha.
loha asks kaushalya what shes doing. she says she sent everyone to the ashram. he says why didnt she go, this is such a happy moment, he doesnt like seeing this sad face. kaushalya says she cant face peoples questions, people meet her at the ashram, they will ask what is happening in the haveli, they threw out the bahu and put a low class girl there. loha says he has everything, just a waaris, people will tak, point fingers, but he wants to tell everyone the thing they lacked is coming soon, a waaris.
some guys play cards. shekhar comes. shekhar takes his friend ranjan to the side and says he is here for work, he wants to go to patna with sid, he wants help, how are the expenses. ranjan says he is loha singh's son, what does he lack. shekhar says he wants to live on his own and wants some work. ranjan says its a big city, the work is 10,00 a month, how can work be trusted, he should at least have 2 lakh rupees. shekhar says he will do what it takes to leave.
