A very sensitive post, Dimdim, thanks ... 😊
Well ... both, TinTiny and you, have written about Laali's helplessness in today's episode. But not a single forum member has written a word in appreciation of your post and its contents.
On the other hand, folks have zealously expressed their concern, in another thread for Ms. Rajput, while trying to guess if she was forced to drink or not.
What does that show ??? The answer is simple ...
People want to know if "Laali, the alluringly dressed actress" was having fun with her fellow actors or not.
But no one cares about the "poor and down-trodden Laali" and the people she represents.
The unfortunate thing is ... the less we talk about the down-trodden, the less inclined we'll be to do anything about the down-trodden.
Everyday, the global media discusses how corporations are making profit via globalization, how technologies are uniting nations, the leaps that medical science is making etc. etc. ... but poverty never gets the same attention. 😭
Poverty hardly ever makes the headlines because the media chooses to ignore it ... and sadly enough, so do we.
Yes, AJMBHKJ will be just another show ... never a reality because no poor, exploited woman will want to say - "Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo". 😒
