I am not a regular viewer of the show...but do keep myself updated on the show....I think that from the entry of laali sold track...this show is getting a little crude....the way thakur talks, lives, conducts himself with women and even siddeshwari-kaushalya conduct...at times it just doesn't go well with viewer's sensisbilities.....what do u guys think?

No offense to fans.....but despite a gripping story line , I find this show crude and repellling at times.

I can understand where you are coming from. There is no denying that the story is crude but this is what is actuallty happening in rural parts of India. Therefore this show carries a cery important social message and is opening eyes to those who live in city comforts. ...but yes, it isn't suitable for types of audiences.

we can never deny the reality of life which reflects on this show. It does happen in many parts of rural India like magnificient me says. Its really sad to know that this society has always been the men dominant one. when a girl gets married, they think that husband is there everything and his family but that husband never aprreciated the women efforts,. If a girl really becomes educated too, she cannot deny the rules of the society she is bounded to live with it. This shows is not crude but sad and painful.

Well, reality can be unbelievable and disgusting at times. I'm actually glad they are not sugar coating. The audience should be disgusted and turned off.

What bothers me are the superstitions ... 😊

The other day, Kaushalya firmly believed that Shekhar had the accident because the thread which Siddheshwari used to tie around the sacred banyan tree broke.

Why do the soaps make people so vulnerable, so weak ? Why do they force people to attach a reason for every innocent incident? Things fall and break (courtesy of gravity). So how is the falling and breaking of things related to our lives?

Now and then, most of us indulge in superstitious thinking. I have friends who carry an object or wear an item of clothing because they think that these items are lucky.

It is true that wearing a "lucky" item gives us a sense of security and confidence. And the *belief* that the item will bring good luck is a very powerful motivator. But where do we draw the line?

Certain personalities are "weaker" than others. Are these soaps spreading a neurosis so vulnerable people become more and more superstitious and the business of priests, fortune-tellers, astrologers, numerologists etc. flourish? Come to think of it, not a bad idea. Every expenditure contributes to the economy ... and if people are willing to be gullible and waste their money, why should we object ?? 😉
