Prishna OS - 8

The last few weeks had been tiring and tough on this sweet couple Prishna'.Krishna busy with her new responsibility of having become the Collector and Pintuji after waiting for so long (along with all of us who wanted to see him work!) had to focus on making a mark in his new assignment.
Also the couple of sweet conversations (my last two fun posts are referred to here'.) between the couple had left a slight uneasiness in them though at heart each were hoping and praying for the other to make the first move in calling off this cold war!
Krishna had finished for the day and had to leave for home when she realized that her driver had taken leave during the late afternoon as he had an urgent call from his home. She thought she should make a call to Pintuji and ask him if he could pick her up on his way back from work. But how? She was still not too sure if she should make the initial move'.So she decides to text him and asks him if he was free. The sight of a text from Krishna makes Pintu literally jump as he really wanted to end all this and get on to his ways''of being as romantic as ever. He reads it and controlling himself with great difficulty replies ' "Yes"' though he wanted to write something to this effect that ' "I am always free for you dear'"
So Krishna waits for him to come and as she sees him stop his car her heart starts to race and pace as after a long time she would be with him alone ' so what if it was a drive but at least for some time she could try and sort out everything between them.
He gets down and comes forward. She gives him a smile and immediately shifts her glance downwards. He looks at her for a minute and says ' "Chalen? Shall we?" And both of them reach the car. Krishna finds him walk away to his driver's seat WITHOUT opening the door for her and this was new to her as he was always so chivalrous.
"When a man opens a car door for his wife, it's either a new car or a new wife."
Here neither was new!
She settles herself and they start. While on the drive, each tries to catch a glimpse of the other and when caught doing so the other would quickly pretend to look the other way. It was a different kind of fun'to be in this mode too.
Soon Krishna asks Pintu casually if his work was going on well. He says ' "Hmm'" and continues to drive. Suddenly the weather starts to get very rough and it is like a cyclone on its way'unseasonal though'but timed rightly for this couple to get closer. God had planned things just right for them.
Pintu tells Krishna that he would have to stop driving as it was not safe and they needed to wait in the car till the weather gets calmer (outside!). Krishna agrees though expresses her concern about their kid and Pintu tells her that Maa would take care of her and she should not worry about unnecessary things NOW.
It starts to drizzle. Pintu tells Krishna that maybe they should quickly move to the back seat as sitting on these bucket seats for hours would not be comfortable. So they open their respective doors and get into the back seat of the car. They get slightly wet in the process and Krishna picks a hand towel lying around to wipe Pintu's hair. Obviously this got them closer and she could see him stare at her and she was caught up in his beautiful eyes. It was a few minutes when Pintu sneezes and Krishna is woken up from her gaze and says '"Sorry Pintuji ' I'."
Pintu asks her ' " You 'what?" She avoids his question and dries up his hair. Pintu notices that her saree too had gotten slightly wet so he suggests that she should loosen her pallu which is forever pleated neatly and pinned much to his discomfort to get naughty! She agrees and removes the pin and lets open her pallu open loosely on her so that it could dry faster. She does glance at Pintu very often and notices that he wanted to tell her something.
Krishna ' "Pintuji ' you can tell me whatever is in your mind."
Pintuji ' "Krishna ' Are you sure you can take it?"
Now she gets careful and wonders if she should have indeed given him the chance to speak ' so she starts instead and says, "Maybe we should let things go and be the way we were always."
"Like what?" Pintu asks her now leaning closer to her.
She could feel him so close that she gets emotional (the typical girl stuff'.)
"Every woman is wrong until she cries, and then she is right, instantly."
Pintu can't take it for he really loved her. He gives her a warm hug and says its fine and all was ok with them. Just that they were too busy and ignored the need to be with each other which was an essential part of any relationship. As he talks he brushes aside her hair and lifts up her face to face him. She feels so secure at his touch and reassuring words that she goes close to his forehead to maybe kiss him but he stops her.
"That's where you get it wrong always, Krishna. When are you going to learn? Even with a veteran like me you seem to be taking too much time." Saying this he comes so close to her that she instantly pushes him aside.
"This is a car Pintuji 'and what are you doing?"
"Why ? What's wrong? Where is it written that you can't kiss your wife in a car?"
Meanwhile it was pouring heavily outside and there was no way she could insist on his driving her home. She tries to distance herself from him only to find that he closes in to her. Finally he tells her ' "Krishna 'I had different plans but you seem to be hesitant even for a kiss?!"
This was the last thing she wanted to hear. She really feels that she had been trapped and there was no way to free herself now. Pintu gets on with his plans with Krishna - slowly ' hesitantly - but surely complying with his requests which later turned into demands. She was enjoying this surrender for it made her feel good.
There was a calm after the storm both outside and in Prishna's world!
They got to the front seat and drove back to the TTS mansion and on the way Pintu kept looking at Krishna and grinning. She asked him the reason and he said she looked different from the way she had left in the morning for work! "But you are looking great now'..thanks to me'."
Krishna gets embarrassed at his comment. They reach home and as the car stops he tells her ' "One minute" and goes close to her as if to make her hair alright and steals a kiss ' a long one ' leaving her breathless and shocked! "You can disarm your door now!" he adds with a wink.
They enter and Ganga looks at them and says - " Hope you two are fine. Krishna, are you alright?" Meanwhile TTS comes there are says ' " Bahu ' you look different '.hope all is'." Ganga quickly asks Krishna to go as she had understood all that had happened. TTS goes on ' "Ganga Devi ' But bahu is not looking ok'" She takes him aside and turns back to give a smile to Pintu as he leaves too behind Krishna. She then tells TTS ' "Have you forgotten how you were a few years back?" TTS replies ' "I am still the same if only I had the cooperation from you!"
