Let me begin my scene ' It starts when Sonu has gone to sleep after a day filled with so much stress and horror with his Dad locking him up first and then even raising his hand at him!
The sun rises'..a new day, a morning which is filled with hope''a new beginning. Krishna comes into the room and looks at this innocent child sleeping peacefully. She goes close to him and with gentle care touches his cheeks and whispers, - "Sonu Baba, Please wake up '..We have a surprise for you today'"
Sonu opens his eyes and looks at Krishna chachi and smiles. He says - "Chachi, did you say surprise? What is it?". Pintu walks in at that moment and says - "Just get ready quickly and you will know." Sonu gets up quickly and is all set for the surprise.
Pintu and Krishna come and tell him, - "Just come with us quietly. We are going to take you out for the whole day." Sonu is thrilled ' a day out with his chachu and chachi whom he loved so much'..They rush towards Ganga's room and inform her and TTS about their plan and seek permission. TTS is glad and says, - "Leave before this Master starts his lecture'..I will take care of the scene here should he start off yet again."
Prishna sneak out with Sonu. Sonu is in the back seat and is constantly popping up in between the two front seats talking with chacha and chachi as they drive to their destination. Pintu does steal his little moments with Krishna too as it was a double bonanza for him to be with the two people he loved so much and unconditionally. Sonu catches them exchanging loving looks and says - "Chachu, Did you plan a surprise for me or chachi?" Krishna starts smiling ' " Sonu Babu'..Don't worry next time chachu does something like that we both will punish him ok?" Sonu is happy.
They arrive at a local mela ' "fair". Sonu gets excited at the colourful and festive look of the place. He wants to sit on all the rides and eat on all the stalls. Pintu tells him they will surely do all that he wants as it was His Day! They go to the merry go round and the Giant wheel. Krishna opts out of these rides as her present condition would not allow her to sit on them. Pintu and Sonu are full of fun and enjoy the rides to the fullest screaming as the speed increases and calling out to Krishna too from the great height! It was difficult to tell who the kid was - Sonu or Pintu!
Once they are down Krishna slows down a little. She is not comfortable any more. The heat was getting on her. She starts feeling giddy. Sonu asks Chachu to sit with Chachi while he runs to a nearby tap with his empty bottle and gets some water for her. Pintu splashes some water on her face and gives her some to drink as well. They sit down on a bench for some time with Krishna resting on Pintu's lap as Sonu and Pintu are engaged yet again in their never ending chatter sessions.
Krishna feels better and they decide to move over to the most exciting part'the food stalls'.. Sonu says - " Chachu, I want to eat pani puris." Pintu gets close to Krishna and asks her, - "Why? What about you madam? " Krishna looks at him and says - "On one condition, I want the same 'pani puri waala' to make it for me''.." And she has a twinkle in her eyes. Pintu smiles and takes over from the pani puri seller. He feeds Krishna and Sonu in turns and enjoys every moment to the fullest.
They get ready to leave after shopping for all that Sonu wanted. The drive back was so satisfying for Prsihna as they had given Sonu so many precious moments of love and laughter! Their happiness lay in his smile and joy! And Sonu could see that. They reach home and Sonu is tired. He wants to get to his room and just crash. Pintu and Krishna take him to his room and as they enter Sonu is really surprised. The room is all decorated with balloons and streamers'.It has a lot of vehicles and toys which he loved to play with. And right on the wall he sees a beautiful note saying'.
It is your Day Sonu! Happy Children's Day! We love you!
Sonu is thrilled and hugs Chachu and chachi. He nearly has tears and rubs it off quickly to ask his chachu - " May I say something, if you both don't mind'" Pintu and Krishna exchange glances. Krishna then says, - "Yes, Sonu baba, please go ahead'. " Sonu takes turns in looking at each one of them and says " Thank you Maa'.Thank you Paa'." Both of them are so overjoyed on hearing this and they hug him. Sonu adds - " Actually ' I wanted to be the first one to call you as Maa and Paa and not the baby that is to come because I really love you both so much'..Now I am happy and will allow the new baby to call you the same too'. You are mine first'..!!!!" Both of them are overwhelmed with joy and after a few moments of hugging put Sonu to sleep.
They are back to their room. Pintu goes over to Krishna and holds her hand. He says ' "Thank you Krishna, I know it was not an easy day for you in your present condition. I really appreciate the way helped me in my plan of giving Sonu a great day." Krishna smiles at Pintu and says ' "Now it is your turn, to make me happy''will you?" Pintu wonders while Krishna just holds his hand and drags him to rest. She feels most secure resting on him - the most caring and loving husband ever!
