Shanti i really enjoy reading all your post and u have a very beautiful way of thinking about issues and especially Pintu. That line about 'An action has to be judged by the intention behind it only' is just too beautiful. Because just before i read your post even though i knew he was right in his behavior i had a smile on my face thinking here he goes again giving bribes he just never learns that this is wrong and could get krishna in more trouble. And than i read that line and just thought that sometimes most of us judge Pintu by superficial notions of what constitutes proper behaviour in society and not what is actually right and wrong.

Pintu might actually be an uncomfortable character for many with his childlike innocents, unworldliness,unpretentiousness but at the sametime streetsmarts because not only do we not expect this combination but him being this way does in many ways challenge the way we see right and wrong by blarring these 2 by making us see the intention instant of the result. And he has challenged our thoughts about issues from day 1 whether its been when he pushed krishna, to slapping her and pinky and the numerous bribes he has given in the show. Because even thought all these acts are wrong the intention is always right. I have to say that Pintu is probably the most noblest character that i have ever seen coz of his intention are never wrong.

Ok now abt Pintu and what u said , I don't want to add anyhting except one line for Pintu " Jo karta hai apne mann ki karta hai , phier chahae woh galat hi kyon naa ho ,Bas mayine rakhti hi toh uski andar ki niyat " .For those who are not much in good , its the same thing which Sandia said in last " acts are wrong the intention is always right. "

So I would just one thing Pintu is not only the most noblest character but also the most selfless character in this show who lives for others and not for himself 😳
