Saraswati never really liked Pinto because he came from a rich family she always felt he was spoilt and he got his way with everything because he is TTS son
While her son Ravi had stride for everything and still never got anything .
Nirmal comes out of an average family , always worked hard respected his inlaws and whenever he came to visit VP would put money in his pocket so Saraswati always knew Nirmal would love her daughter and his inlaws, when Krishna fired Nirmal Saraswati blamed it on the fact that Krishna is married into a rich family and she does not care about ruining her sister's marriage .
When Nirmal was given a job by the DC , Saraswati thanked Krishna but than she too was suppose to thank Pinto because it was TTS that got him the job and not Krishna.
Krishna was BDO and Pinto had left home and was not working
instead of Saraswati understanding him and treating him as an equal
now she started making statements that he is nothing without TTS
and that he is only bringing problems and disgrace to Krishna .
When Pinto married Krishna Saraswati was happy but now she
blames him for whatever his father does .
So at the moment she knows Nirmal was involved in stealing the file from BDO office and now going to Pinky's party .
but Pinto on the other hand no matter how she scolds or insults him
he still has respect .
Saraswati admits that Pinto is unlike TTS but here again she is not trying to mend Pinto & Krishna's marriage
She preaches to Nirmal about relationships when she herself is doing nothing about Krishna's relationship .
I truely do think Saraswati is been very biased in this regard
