Kinshuk Mahajan wants to play a monk in his next

Kinshuk Mahajan, who is known as the chocolate boy of television needs a change in his roles. The actor is currently seen in Afsar Bitya as Pintoo Singh and wants to shed his chocolate boy image and do something really challenging. One of the roles, he wants to play in his next is that of a monk.
When asked about the reason for wanting to play a monk, the actor says, "Since my 'Bidaai' days, all the production houses have taken me as a chocolate boy. After Bidaai, I got Chand Chupa Badaal Mein, I took up that show because it was a negative character. Later, as the story progressed and as it is a daily soap, the negative was converted to positive. Afsar Bitya was a based on a Bihari background, which was a big plus for me. There I could play a Bihari and the overall look was also very appealing as it would make a lot of difference to my performance. "
Kinshuk explains further, "In my next show, I would want to play a monk." When probed about what inspired him for the same, he says, "I read a book called 'The Monk who sold His Ferrari'. It was a very inspiring book and the character sketch of the book was amazing. I don't know how will it turn out on television, but the character itself had depth in it."
Hope, the production houses are listening to this one.
