This episode has reminded me of a discussion we had long back about colour discrimination. Will try to unearth that thread from this forum.

Angel,

And it reminded me of Zarmeeno's topic as early as January. The topic itself was color discrimination.

Zarmeen had always been vocal about this.

I am soo soo Happy that 11 pm repeat is back . Finally They listened 2 us . Yupieee 🥳. Now I hope TRP 2 increases

Thanks for digging this up! It makes me sort of happy that we got what we had asked for so long ago! It makes me feel like there has been some continuity to the show despite the loss of solid direction for a while now. I just hope that with the return of the 11pm repeat and Ganga and Babloo coming around even a little through this complexion incident, they will get back to the original vision of the show with Krishna doing her job as BDO and being a bahu and wife. Looking back at our expectations, they dealt with the issue quite well!

I thought it was really interesting that Krishna was compared to "a black gem" because growing up in the south it reminded me of a saying... "oil under pressure becomes coal, coal under preasure becomes a diamond, diamonds under pressure shine".😉
