Afsar Bitiya is a new show coming up on Zee TV produced by Rakesh Paswan's Village Boy productions. The production team has finailised the main cast and and busy in finalising the remaining cast for the show.

Mitali Nag, a new talent, is playing the female protagonist in the show.

Kinshuk Mahajan (Sapna Babul Ka...Bidaai fame) is male lead opposite to Mitali.

Shahbaaz Khan who was last seen in Looteri Dulhan has been roped in to essay a pivotal character in the show.

Sanghmitra Hitaishi is seen as Sharda Kumar, an I.A.S. officer (District Magistrate) in the promos currently running on Zee TV.

Meena Mir, the actress who was last seen in the movie 'I am Kalam' will make her debut on the small screen with this show.

Neha Prajapati from Hamari Saas Leela, Yash P. Sinha of Bhagyavidhaata fame, Niraj Sood who played a florist in Band Baaja Baraat and the newbie Amandeep, veteran actor Virendra Saxena are also be a part of the show,
