I am totally with you on that then. That is to say I have not found anything lacking in Krishna's reactions but I too would like to see her do something. Hopefully this will start happening after she becomes a BDO. The convincing way in which her interview questions were asked and answered (I loved her answer about Bihar with all the historical references!) makes me believe that there is someone on the team who is doing research so I hope the same continues when she is a BDO, hopefully soon now.
Actually it is good that I caught you. Ursh and I were thinking of starting a daily discussion thread about the episode where each of us writes a general overview of our opinion on it, and then we discuss as the spirit moves us. From my experience of doing this on other forums I would say it is nice for just making genreal or specific comments for which you don't feel justified creating a whole new post.
What say? You in? I am thinking of starting from today's episode. 😊

@Moni: Thanks for the link but I have found that it works better when you open a thread for each day, rather than have it all on one thread. So if you don't mind I am going to try that way for a few days as it is easy to navigate the threads and the activity of the forum will be more with more posts per day. I am saying this from the experience I have had on other forums. 😊
Ok I am off to make the thread now.
If stories have antagonists set against protagonists it all should end in resolution to the conflicts arising when these two meet.
I would like to take the example of Alice in Wonderland.
In Alice in Wonderland all characters who Alice encounters during her trip through Wonderland are antagonists. They baffle her, confuse her, and order her about and even try to behead her. Even those who appear not mean to her are antagonists, as their strange behavior confuses Alice.
Conflict is happening every time Alice meets all these antagonists. The main conflict occurs in the trail, last chapter of the book. When Alice is called to give evidence she calls all the creatures 'nothing but a pack of cards' that rain down on her attacking in rage.
The resolution to this conflict is she wakes up.
So what will be the resolutions to all these conflicts that Krishna in Afsar Bitiya is going to face, some conflicts she has resolved but what will be the resolution for her main conflict and what lies ahead in the grand scale of this show is yet left to be seen.
Or is it going to be open ended just like life?

Set in Bhagalpur (Bihar), Afsar Bitiya throws light on the importance of female education and issues surrounding their education. It talks about a young girl's resilience, aspirations, dreams and motivation to work harder and make a mark in society despite all adversities. The story traces the journey of Krishna, whose life centers around getting a good education to improve her family's life. She is quiet and demure yet a go-getter. From a lower middle class family where no one had ever got a better job than a clerk, this girl rises against all odds and happens to become a B.D.O. (Block Development Officer) through her sheer hard work. Her life and her family's life change forever after she becomes an 'Afsar Bitiya'. Krishna's unexpected achievement brings in a lot of happiness for her family, but is her happiness meant to stay forever? Her sudden accomplishment attracts not only fame but many difficulties. Will Krishna's values remain intact after she becomes 'Afsar Bitiya'? Will her position in the society allow her to become a doting and caring wife? Will the nature of her job allow her to remain an obedient daughter and a devoted daughter-in-law? How an honest and determined girl from a moderate background adapts to changing situations is what makes the narrative of AFSAR BITIYA a poignant one!
