gr8...now u can edit it, eg, say u want only some part from the first clip, so play it, n where ur watching it there are 2 icons there, one is camera, and other is split the scene.... cut the scene, n when its done, u can select the clip u want and copy it or click right mouse and choose, Add to timeline...timeline in at the bottom, whatever u want will be made there....add all the clips how u want there, then save it on ur desk top......

U can do lots of things with it, u iwll have to explore it.... when u are done with the time line, press ..save to my computer, n a window will open, name it and select where u want to save it, beginers r advice to save on desk top.... 😛 then press NExt and choose settings which u think r best..... and thats it, it will be saved on ur pc......

OK Fazi, even I followed this tutorial as I was trying to split the 09th Sept epi into 2 (can't upload it, too big). Once I split it into 2, how do I save the bits as avi or wmv files instead of movie maker projects or whatever they're called?

Or maybe a simpler way of asking is - how do I split an epi into 2 or 3 pieces so that I can upload it?

ok.. I m new in this tread but here is ur ans:

open windows movie maker, split videos in whatever size u want. .. then drag the part u want into storyboard thingy.. and then say file -> publish the project (or movie).. this publishing converts ur movie maker files into wmv. ready to watch on anything u want.. 😊

Nisha exactly as Kets said. Import the video(original), split will be available on the screen. Select the first set of clips for the first vid, drag it to the story board. Once done Save the clip from the File menu Save as movie option. This is your first wmv. Now again import the original video, select second set of clips, drag it on story board and then save this second story as second movie.

To add audio effect, in the story board section click on Audio button. Now import an .mp3 file, drag it on the audio section. Go to Tools, Audio Levels, drag the rule towards the right end. Thats it you vid will now have sound from the audio file. 😃 😃
