Rajeshwari Sachdev is set to cut a new album. And husband Varun Badola, a classical singer himself, is set to sing and dance with her

Rajeshwari Sachdev and Varun Badola

Rajeshwari is busy roping in her husband Varun Badola for some more song and dance post-Nach Baliye. The actress is all set to start work on her new album after a gap of three-and-a-half years. If all goes well, the actress will also want to pen the lyrics for her fourth album.

Says Rajeshwari, "I think it's time to make an album. All these years I have been extremely busy with something or the other so there has been no time to think about an album. My last album was Mukhda Piya Ka which was in folk form. I am yet to decide if I want a sufi or folk or mushy feel to my album. For now, I am going to request Varun to be a part of the album."

Varun, a classical singer himself, is gung-ho about his wife's new album and the idea of singing and dancing for it. He says, "Rajeshwari is the singer in the family but I will happily render my services for her album. I'm ready to sing and dance for her if it helps her album. I will not be able to write for her as writing takes a lot of time. But otherwise, I could do anything and everything for her within my capacity. Her success is related to mine as well."

For now Rajeshwari is not taking up any new offers and is looking forward to a vacation with her husband next month. Adds Rajeshwari, "Nothing has excited me so far on television or films but I am game for anything new. I badly want a vacation as I have had no time in the past two years and have not been able to do so as our dates have always clashed."
