much curiosity, but Ravi is a man with a mission. After being palmed off with a substandard, though internationally branded T-shirt, he has decided to protest in a Gandhian manner.

A fortnight ago, he bought a branded T-shirt from a showroom in New Delhi. Says Ravi, "I loved the colour of the T-shirt and preened in it happily at a party in Mumbai. Much to my horror, the colour faded considerably after the very first wash!"

The actor rushed to an outlet of the brand in the city. "I was really put off and decided to exchange it from their store in Andheri. They simply refused to exchange it even though I had the receipt," he says.

That's when his devious mind kicked into gear. Very inspired by Lage Raho Munnabhai, he launched his protest through his own version of Gandhigiri by wearing the same T-shirt, wherever he goes! Naturally it becomes a conversation piece, and the bad word about the brand is spread everywhere…

Yogesh Kapupra, a serial director says, "Ravi wore it to a party in the afternoon, and again that night. The next night he was seen in it again! We thought that the stress was finally getting to him, and then he told us why he was wearing it everywhere!"

"In fact, we told him we'll help him protest by sending flowers to the company, just like in the movie," laughs Yogesh.

The newly sworn-in Gandhian has the last word, "As an ordinary citizen, I can't fight a big company for just a T-shirt. But it's unethical to treat customers like this. After watching Lage Raho Munnabhai, I am in awe of Gandhigiri and believe it works. Let the rest follow."

he is a gr8 actor. My name is also ravi. I like is acting and he is a bundle of talent. The way he acts in emotional scenes or comedy scenes is exceptional. I like his role in ek chabhi hai padoss mein and a serial i remember watching on doordarshan. I think he is underrated and hasn't got his due yet. I have heard that he is a really good natured person in real life also.
