the longer you take to tell him, the harder it will get for you...itd best if you do it sooner

When you get it out, atleast you wont feeel guilty anymore

First and foremost, your "joke" was ridiculous. Yes, how's about we call some random person, give a fake name, and then have him tell us all the emotions, thoughts, confusions, anxieties, fears, and anger that goes throughout his mind? I cannot believe that someone can even do that to another.

Besides that, you should have told him the truth a long time ago. You have created a space in his mind, and he thinks you are his friend. I guess late is better than never, however. Tell him now, and understand that you should expect him to be angry with you. Don't expect to ever associate yourself with that person after that ridiculous joke you played on him.

I'm gonna say what pretty much everyone else said.
You seem to be falling for this guy and he seems to be falling for you too. Imagine a few weeks/months down the line IF he does ask you out and then you decide to come clean with him and tell him 'Oh btw, just for the info..my name is really...' If a guy did something like that to me, I would be scared to trust him again, even if it is something small like that. I would think he's be flirting with me for the last few weeks or whatever but he's not serious.

Just explain your situation to him. Tell him that you're sorry you lied to him but express your feelings for him and tell him how much you appreciate how close you both are now and how you want to continue being good friends. :) (or maybe something a little more? hehe)

The longer you hide this from him, the more it will hurt him when you tell him the truth.

i understand dt.im a idiot dt i did dt.i noe..i don expect anything in return frm him nthng........at all........its okk if he hates me......coz i deserve dt..........ill just tell him d truth.........i cant do this anymore....... 😭
