Shweta on cloud nine
Shweta Kawaatra, who was last seen as a tough cop in Colors' Phulwa is back and how. On one hand, she has been receiving praises for her performance in Murder 2 and on the other she has recently entered the popular Sony show Adaalat, where she has bagged a challenging role.
Shweta, who is elated with the response to Murder 2 and was spotted having a good time at the success party held this weekend, states "I don't think I have ever been complimented so much in just one day. My role has been received very well. Mr. Mahesh Bhatt totally showered me with praises and it left me feeling humbled. He said that I have done more for his film than he has done for me and much more. Coming for Mr. Bhatt it was truly an honour."
Shweta is also all praise for the team of the film as she says "The team of Murder 2 is so united and everyone pulled off their characters so well and that is what worked for the movie. There is no fixed, formula for success it is the team that makes a film work. I am currently reading some more film scripts and just hoping that everything works out well. "
Speaking about her role in Adaalat, the actress says, "I am playing a lawyer pitched against Ronit and it is exciting as I have never played the role of a lawyer before. I am still working on my mannerisms as I want to pull off the role in the best way I can."
We wish Shweta good luck for her future endeavours.
