I am very passionate about acting and in my career I have always done meaningful roles like Yuvraaj in Ghar Lakshmi Betiyaan, Jeet in Maayka and also anchoring a show like Perfect Bride on STAR Plus and so when Adaalat was offered I took up the offer as I loved the character. I have never played someone like him before.
I like the concept and characters especially a tough lawyer like K.D.Pathak. Adaalat is totally different from a regular daily soap and it has a thriller element which I like a lot.
Oh yes definitely. He is a well known actor in this industry and I feel it's a golden opportunity for me to work with him for the first time. I remember meeting him while shooting Kitchen Champion and I told him that I admired him as an actor. It is my privilege that I am working with my one of my favourite actors after Shekhar Suman.
For the first time, I am playing an associate to a lawyer, so for that, I am working on the mannerisms, learning the ways of a lawyer and stuff needed for me to do in the courtroom. I am preparing by watching the show itself.
On television, I really like K.D.Pathak but on the silver screen, in Hollywood I loved the role of Tom Cruise in A Few Good Men, Keanu Reeves in Devils Advocate. Among our films, I really like Anil Kapoor in Meri Jung and Sunny Deol in Damini.
I shot for two short films which went for the Cannes Festival and I was busy enjoying my married life.
Everything is going fine with grace of God. I feel blissful to be married to Tina, who is my support system.
