Hey Sukhi, I had put up a question at help desk, no one answered...

what time does adaalat air in dubai...they had announced earlier

8 pm, but didn't show it at that time.......I watch on the net...

In dubai it airs on friday 7pm and sat 11:30pm

If someone cannot afford a lawyer, the govt appoints someone on his/her behalf. Take example of Kasab - he had a lawyer appointed by the government, but this person is a defence lawyer, not a public prosecutor.

Where did she become a defence lawyer? I didnt't watch the show from the start, so not sure.

But in general - suppose there's a theft in a house and the person files a case with the police. The police catch someone and put him behind bars. Then the case starts. The public prosecutor will agrue that the person is guilty - that is indirectly acting on behalf of the person in whose house the theft has happened. The defence lawyer will act on behalf of the person who is in jail.
