A few days ago , right?
A few days ago , who would have thought that Akshat and Meenakshi will even look eye-to-eye. Akshat was a ruthless go getter and Meenakshi a judgmental moral righteous woman. And then, one situation - Sameer's suicide attempt - pushed two of them together. A situation where Akshat realized that its okay to be weak - its okay to feel - its okay to understand that if you hurt someone , you too bleed at times. Meenakshi realized that just because people carry a hard shell , it doesn't mean they are villains - they have a soft vulnerable side that vibrates when something pricks their heart under the hard shell. Meenakshi realized that people make mistakes but that doesn't mean they don't repent.
Pain is what has bound Akshat and Meenakshi together ( apart from DC of course ). They both are in the situation where they have together experienced the horror, the trauma and anxiety of seeing a bleeding Sameer. They were together when they shook like winter leaves in the fear that Sameer is critical. They were together when Akshat broke down in guilt and remorse and Meenakshi , scared herself , held his hand and assured him that Sameer will live. In 24 hours, Akshat and Meenakshi came close because someone's pain and pathos roped them together - they both turned to each-other in a time of crisis - they formed a bond of trust and warmth - unsaid , unspoken , unrealized but understood.
Its showed in how Meenakshi smoothly did the dance after Akshat genuinely told her to trust him and gave her his hand. When she daintily fell into his arms as a part of their dance. When Akshat supported and sympathized with her as she could not stop worrying about Sameer. Above all, when he went with her to the hospital in the precap , fully knowing the consequences ahead.
A bond that has sprung from someone else's pain but has sewn Akshat and Meenakshi together. There is no name to this relationship - its not friendship or love yet - its a bond where they both are each-other's strength.
One dialogue of Akshat summed it up so well for him and Meenakshi - " Apne partner pe trust karna chaahiye."
