8 yr age gaap in some cases are acceptable ..but why 18-19 yr old gals getting married in serials. wat abt there studies..serial ppl r promoting early marriages. In urban areas ppl marries in there 30s too or even later in there life. After completing all studies and become independent.

But rural and small towns, 20- 21 seems marriageable age

In Andhra, girls max are married b/n 22-25

Yaa few are there who didn’t get married till 30s but those are min cases

Yaa 18 is really young to get married

Daily soap world🙄. Serials always tried to show from the pov of village or small town mentality( may be this hppns 2-3 decades ago) serial writers nd cv went back to villages society sometimes. They dont make serials for urban ppl or metro cities. So its hard to see many things. Like in mny serial i literally surprised to see that so nd so narrow mentality ppl exist in the world. eg- like in one of the serial family doesnt allow daugher in law to go out for studies or shopping,I cant believe that such ppl exists. Are there bahus living in Jails? What r there expectation? In many stories girl father doesnt allow for college or to complete her basic degree course. Are such father exist in our soceity? In mny serials FL they show poor/orphan but good in character like sankskar wali girls, and middle class or rich girls are bad or gold digger. And they differentiate these characters with there clothes like traditional attire vs western clothes. Also they show FL belongs to village dont have proper english word accent . Like she says Thaaanko instead if thank u ... Oh common any body who can speak good in other language can speak basic english world properly. Every one nowadays aware of phn internet and social media.

I agree! Portrayal of FL is so regressive... N they are still selling it... May b bcoz audience is still buying it

I have seen many women marries around 35. In hyderabad too. Serial ppl shows love stories of 18-30 yr of age grp as if love, relationship, marriages are the imp issues in someone life. Other issues of someone's life not been considered like job issues, chidless couples facing probs, financial problem, adjustment problems in moving in diff cities, parenting probs, other daily probs neglected by serial makers. There overall story focussed in marriages and love. Although there may be some serial highlight social probs of soceity like dowry, child marriages, widow remarriages. But still they do not highlight the issues and divert these issues in marriages or love. For the sake if trp they show romance and all 😅
