Hello,

I find Sameer's dad really ridiculous. In yesterday's episode, he created such a hungama at his son's wedding function for a supposedly lost phone? I mean first of all who creates a tamasha infront of everyone for that? Wouldn't you first try...uhh I don't know...searching for the phone yourself? And secondly, even if Antara took it I don't get the big deal. She's a five year old kid for God's sake! Kids do things like that all the time! And they love playing with cell phones and all...I honestly don't get what the big deal was in this. A sensible grown up would just explain to the kid that stealing is bad and take the phone back. Bas khatam kahani. Really no need to exaggerate and call the kid 'paagal' in front of everyone and all...and storm out of the function?!! For a grown up he acted more immature than the kids. Honestly the kids in this show act so much more maturely than some of the grown-ups, this guy here was a prime example of that. And another one is that tai-ji. 😡

What do ya'll think?

He is not at all in favor of this match.Thats why he is vesting his frustration in public & doesn't miss any opportunity to play down Vermas.

^^ O ok...is that it. Why is he against the wedding? Because the Verma's are not wealthy? I just recently started watching so that would be why I'm asking dumb questions. 😳
Ok that makes a lot more sense. Thanks! =)

So he's gonna be all "I'm not getting my son married to a family of theives" or something now and call off the wedding perhaps? But I guess the real issue is that everyone now is assured that Antara is 'paagal'. And this would lead to complications with the wedding. It would be touching and interesting to see if and how Antara wins these people's hearts and hopefully helps them become more open-minded.

Welcome to the different world of Antara. One of the reason is wealth and probabley he disapproves of Arti as a match too. AKA till now has been very realistic and touches ur heart. He may try to call of the wedding but Sam is firm on marrying Arti. Antara being autistic cannot reach out so its for others to reach to her and know her. Slowly with therapy and her family's support she is improving. There have been many poignant points which wld make one cry a lot.

That is a good point. He has been money grubbing from the start, from small things like phones, to big things like accommodation costs. Who is coming out looking dishonest--not the Vermas, but him.

Because people are afraid that once baat shaadi tak paunch gayi, then if they break it off, no one will marry the girl, the girls' side keeps quiet and lets the groom's parents say anything. I wish Aarti would open her dazzled eyes--what happiness will she have with a guy whose family is able to walk over people like this? I would rather my daughter be single than have a married life like that.

Mahika.
