Like serious, what is up with Sameer's dad? Can't he pay for his own guests??? 😕

Why is he moochin' off of his soon to be bahu's brother? 😡

He's so rich, and he can afford to put them in a nice hotel seeing as they are rich and don't seem to paying for anything in wedding! 😕 I wonder why? Isn't it their son's marriage too? 😕 Why is he taking advantage of Aditya's goodness and pressuring him to take care of and pay for his guests hotel expenses? 😡

This is too much! I know in Indian weddings, the girl's side pays for the wedding, but I don't think they have to pay for hotel and lodging of their in law's guests? 😕 This is so weird....😕

Varsha, its just his displeasure towards the match and most groom's father😡 are proud of having borne a son so they want to feel superior by ordering or bossing over the girl's family. Its a mindset running over ages. Oh the bride's family has to organize the wedding right from material reqd, place of marriage, boarding and lodging of groom' s relatives (baraatis) , gifts for them and above all the social evil Dowry. Many people believe that they are marrying their son to a girl and thereby obliging her family so they must pay for the expenses incurred in rearing the son.🤢

Oh god...I knew about the dowry and that how the girls pay for the wedding and everything, but I seriously didn't know that they even paid for the baraatis board and lodge and gifts too! That's just outrageous...But I do agree, it's people's mindset when they have son. They think they're doing the girl's family a favor.

I think though Sameer's dad is just going waaay too far with it though...even if he's not happy with the marriage that doesn't mean he's going to leave Aditya a penniless pauper! 😡

yeah good ideas which lead you to a good question that is really weird that the girl side must pay for the hotel for guests.never heard before.

From experience I can tell you that he is getting away with it because there is no elder of his age to tell him no. He is bossing Aditya because he can. If Aditya's tauji or someone would step forward and start negotiating, all would be well. But no one wants to be held responsible in case there is any misunderstanding.
