Why does everyone want a cute pretty face for Antara? Are all autistic kids high on the beauty scale? This show is for autism awareness...these people are acting, doing a great job, but the real life parents really have to struggle every day, every moment...let's not undermine their efforts by focussing on "pretty face" so much. The present Antara is very cute, but if she was not I feel many here would not like the drama even if the quality of the show was the same. That really saddens me. As a mother I would like to see people being loving, caring and tolerant towards "special" kids irrespective of their beauty quotient. Remember, Rani was not at all looking all pretty in Black, and yet the character touched our soul. Even saying "special" child makes me feel sad...to me every child is special. As they say on the show, autism is not a disease, its just that they are diff. The society should be made aware to accept different too. Thanks to the Aapki Antara team for all their efforts. Let's respect the feelings of all the parents out there who are trying hard to make the world more tolerant towards their "differently abled" child/children.
