I do agree with you..but partly,
Certain things are repetitive and a drag..making the episode a bit boring..basically no major prgress on the 'nabbing of the virus' front..
Yes after a point cvs shld not go on writing similar mallick-saigal scenes..
But..
It is not the case that the focus is on mallick-saigal..
They were hardly there in last weeks episode (yes i do agree cvs should not get to repetitve of whatever they show as far as their scenes go)
But i disagree with the take that coz of personal mallick-saigal sqaubling...the attack of delta team got delayed..
See kamat cannot act on his own, for he is askef to report the ongoing and wait for orders .
See he would not knw the bigger picture..and bigger plan and him acting on his own may ruin the whole plan.amd may be bit too premature and wld bust jais plan..and hence ruining the mission..
Coming to ur grouse of showing saigal saying go attack and mallick saying no..
It is not coz of their personal differences..but more due the way each of them view the situaltion differently ..
1.saigal thinks..since the virus is spotted and all the parties concerend are present..they should not waste time attacking..
Yes, by the looks of it ..it makes sense to attack..but mallick had a point..
Jai has not signalled..!
There has to be a reason why..
The whole crux of the operation is the timing of the attack..if too early, it may spoil the plan
Jai later explains that he did not give the signal as the virus was not verified..what if that vial/tube had something else and not the virus? What if mehr was tricking dhruv and the sherchans? And that stuff was mot actually virus..
So if they attacked without confirming ..they wld miss nabbing the real threat-the virus and it wld be still there somewhere out there and the threat against the nation wld still exsist.
So i can understand the frustration frm ur end as u founfd the episode boring..coz there was no major movement frm the ATUs end and this 'yes and no' thing frm mallick-saigal .
But that bit was not coz of personal egos or anything..
Saigal does not understand jai as mallick does..
He thinks they should not care fr jais signal and mallick thinks since jai has not signalled they should wait as the timing was most important..
So the delay per se was not frm the atu end (as ur frustration seems to say) ..the delay was at sherchan end as roshan asks fr more money wch stops the verifcation process of the virus anf dhruv leaves frm there..
So yes; i ageee the drag was there..but the reason fr drag was not mallick-saigal..infact there were hardly any story progession on the atu front..
The story wld only progress when jai gives the signal and confirms the virus himself..
Now the cvs fr sake of stretching the drama are delaying that bit..
So whoever they show at atu at the moment be it mallick, saigal, vedant or gyan..wld be redundant..
So atleast that bit was not silly per me..saigal saying yes and mallick no.
But agree saigal-mallick scenes need progression..and cvs cant show same stuff again anf again..also other atu characters need screentime..
My grouse was atu not getting enuf meaty tracks when the focus was on sherchans as compared to say naina singania..i feel her being everywhere at the right time is bit too mch..and the way she is shown overpowrring the pm and prithivi ..(but that is my personal pov..am sure many are enjoying her track..i too like it .but last episode i felt her track cld be crisper..)
So yes there was a bit drag in the drama..
U felt mallick-saigal was too mch, i felt naina sighania easily finding every lil secret was too mch..
Anyways the point is ..untill the sherchan drama of virus deal is not over, the main story wont progress .
So the episode was a bit boring..and a stretch..the cvs cld have made it more tighter and not made us wait fr the real action for yet another episode..
Btw, anil kapoor in his latest iv sd that 13th and 14th episodes are very good and his personal fav..so i guess all the action related to the virus happening then..
He also adds that post that the story wld get interesting with characters of mallick, saigal and vedant coming on their own..
So am sure all ur issues regarding repetitive scenes wld go away then .
