She was shown talking abt a consignment to jai on phone

And even in future she may aid jai..

Seems jai 'befriended' her as she wld be privy to the insides which haroon may not share with jai

I think Jai may have deliberately befriended Maya to get entry into the Sherchand gang.

Jai's son was assigned to follow drug or weapon (which one I am not sure) dealers who were living in a Nepal hotel. There he finds his dad (Jai) kissing this women.

So Maya is part of the smuggling business. She may have helped in Jai's entry into the smuggling ring.
