Until yesterday's episode and for obvious reasons, I guess, one and all among the viewers had suspected Tej to be the mole in ATU (even after Jia confessed to be the one in the episode of last week).
But, yesterday in a surprising turn of events, we witnessed a few noteworthy things -
1. Tej forgiving Jai unhesitatingly for keeping secrets from him.
2. Tej helping Jai unflinchingly by going against ATU protocol (don't forget that in the eyes of law, Jai is a suspect for Aditya's attempted assassination).
3. Tej was the one to break down Jia's defense and get clues (though meager ones) for Jai.

Yesterday, Tej not only cleared his name, but proved his mettle too. I say that, because, unlike Jai and Nikita who sympathized with Jia, Tej showed total contempt and disgust at the betrayal that Jia had meted out to her colleagues, her office and above all her country. I know that there would be a difference in opinion among the viewers on the issue of whether -
Jia was a victim of circumstances ( a single mother with a young son and an ailing / a terminally ill parent to take care of, whose misfortune had been taken advantage of by Yakub to meet his own ends).

But, others would want to follow Tej's line of thinking when he said to Jia -
"If you were victimized because of paucity of money, you could have resigned rather than turning against those who reposed faith in you."
This actually brought out a very simple yet apt moral principle that we all should follow in life, which is -
"You always have a choice - either to go along with the evil or to stand up and say no to dishonesty and prove your loyalty".

If Tej was not pretending to be the good guy yesterday, then, can we hope that this the beginning of a trustworthy friendship between Jai and Tej (like the trust Jai and Nikita seem to share)?
In the near future he can turn out to be a very helpful ally for Jai.
Or are the viewers in for a bigger shock - now that he has at last started gaining our (and Jai's) trust, the CVs would come up with a complete 180 degree u turn for his character and give us a rude shock by making Tej turn out to be another mole?

However, what I realized after watching yesterday's episode was that while Jai rocked with his cleverness and bravery, Trisha won our hearts with her sacrifice, courage and bravado, the passerby (unknown girl) showed true guts with her acting skills and character judgement ability, yet it was Tej who remained the "unsung hero" of what was a super thrilling episode, at least for me.

I apologize for the long post. Hope you all have some views to share. Even disagreements are welcome. Do keep commenting.

I agree.. tej was very sensible yesterday!!
Even nikita softened a bit to jia after learning of her miseries but tej although felt bad for her but still he was clear in his mind that what jia did was betrayal to everyone!!

But i still think that after jiaa there is one more mole in atu!! And i still suspect it to be tej!!

Good work by Adhir Bhatt as Tej. He's shown a lot more to this character than was previously seen. While we suspected that Tej is either a mole or merely a yes-man of RAW, he's now shown how dedicated he is to the ATU's cause, and thus, the country. When he realised that something fishy was going on, and Jia was acting up, he eventually let go of all his suspicion towards JSR and eventually stood up for him, since he now knew they're fighting a common enemy.

All along, he was very stiff, and merely trying to uphold the discipline and protocol in the ATU, but now, he's gone beyond that, just to get the ATU's job done.

Yes, it was a new front of Tej's persona that we discovered in the last two episodes.

Your analysis seems quite apt. I have started liking his sense of integrity (which many of us mistook for a rigidity in his nature).

Even I think we'll have to face another mole (the main villain) within ATU and our choices seem to be limited.
Yet I'd go for Nikita being the one, simply because, it is an old school yet often used strategy in a criminal drama to clear a suspect's name early on (in Nikita's case within the first three hours / episodes) and then for that same person to emerge as the prime culprit in the end, just in order to take the viewers / readers by surprise. (Herein, I base my assumption / theory mostly on my readings of crime thrillers by Christie, Sheldon etc.)

well i was even sure that Cv's will not shown tej as culprit..but never thought about his char in depth..but ya after this epi i really liked this char..he is really honest...
