There are people who cant watch online. Sometimes, in UAE too, the episodes on TV is edited and currently UAE is just 2 days apart from India.
There is so much to watch and minute details do make it important to understand the storyline. While understanding relationships between different characters it makes such a huge difference.
Otherwise, the depth of each character, relationship between characters, importance of minor details which aids in building the storyline is lost in the process.
If Abhi-Simi scenes are being deleted, whats the use watching the show and for whom.
There are very many people who are not computer savvy. For such people its like denying the completeness and sweetness of the show. Ultimately all scenes add to the continuity in a story about happenings in a family.

If they had thought it would have such an impact on the audience, they would never have edited.
And to tell you the truth, 80% of the viewers never watch the full episode, they just skip through it to catch the storyline.
That's why one week you have TR'S of the show at 2.7 and then another week at 1.9. Which shows that people watch only when their is something good in the show and not just anything that's given to them.

What is shot for an episode, its the their duty to give it to the viewers completely. People watching it will decide, what is important to them and what is not. A show has to be presented in totality. Whats important for one individual may not be for the other. So from 100% total minutes given viewers have the option to take it or leave it. If its presented in 50% scale, how can people appreciate. Presentation has to be complete. Its individual decision to decide which part of storyline is important. And it will definetely make a difference only then.

Really Gur? Because the people I know who watched the show felt there was a lot missing and try telling that to the writers, actors and directors of the show who have spent time writing those subtle elements. If they weren't important, then the editors of the show would have removed them. I watched PR online and wow, it was edited to shreds by ZeetvUSA.
Did you do a survey to find out if 80% of viewers on Zeetv only watch HALF If not LESS than HALF on an episode.
No, the reason why TRP ratings change is that some people watch and some people don't but there is that 1.9 that watches consistently which is more than HALF.
Gur, WHY does it matter if the shows are running at the same time both here or in India when you're only going to watch HALF of it anyway? AND you can watch it online. Better yet, just read the written updates and you won't even half to watch the show at all. Shanti and Pam will do it for you.

Thank you Sigrid. Unfortunately, if they think like Gur then the chances of getting the whole show back is pretty impossible.

Seems like Zeetv outside of India is editing the show to shreds. Fine, if they want to be up-to-date with India, then at least give us one hour episodes to catch up.

I agree!!! I like to watch the WHOLE episode and decide for MYSELF what is important and what is NOT important. I don't need someone else doing it for for someone else deciding what I should or should not see.

You don't get it do you? So what if our episodes are shown at the same time as India's episodes? And why is THAT so darn important?
We will have other mega episodes and other shows in the future and we don't want them edited. NO, why should I watch them online with a bad print and sound that is not audible? I pay for a subscription for a reason. Plus I can't watch the show online with family and friends.
