Neetu is a very selfish and spoilt brat. Always wants her way and thinks that the world revolves around her and what she says. I only hope that she truly sees the light and changes for the better and realises that everyone is with her and not against her. Except Nakul that is. True I have noticed some change in Neetu since Simi gave her that bit of halwa. Lets wait and see what this girl gets up to.

Neetu's character was poorly developed from the start. All she had to do was act as an airhead. That was it. Very little was given about her. All that we knew about her was she was an airhead. The actress who played her was also way over the top; her dialogues were often spoken a very strained, almost screeching voice. I used to do this when I first started acting. When they played back the tapes I almost died of embarassment, so I do realize a lot of this comes from inexperience. Sometimes when she cries I cannot make out what she says and rely on the subtitles. Poor articulation of words is another big problem as I see it.
So combined with a poorly developed character and not a strong actor, you do not have a very appealing character. If I had written Neetu, I would have kept the airheadedness but not the malicious nature. It would have been more interesting to watched a story of a young girl who gets pregnant, but gets married to him and finds out life after marriage is not as appealing. He turns out to be a layabout, petty thief, and cheats on her. It creates the idea of what does a young girl do when she ends up with a guy who she thinks is her dream, but turns out to be a nightmare. Does she stay or does she go.
Then you could have had the Ravi Dubey character who works with her - make him normal - and creat a conflict of whether she stays with the husband or leaves her for someone else. And when she does, how or if his family accepts her with a child from another man.
All this much ado about Omi and his family is just too boring to watch.
