The doctor on the show did not hesitate to discharge a patient in such critical condition and that too at the insistence of his son.Who is the doctor here? I have seen doctors fight tooth and nail if a patient is in such a critical situation. Is it only in India where this does not happen? Remember earlier on the doctor was actually against the idea that RS was removed and Abhi even threatened to call the police? What happened after the so called critical surgery to address the brain hemorraghe?
Anyone who has a fall and suffers damage enough to render him paralyzed needs ongoing treatment to reduce the swelling in his brain. That person might be at risk of hemorrhaging or even a stroke. The doctor should have protested and spoken to other members of the family - the patient was getting his services paid for so that should not have stopped the doctor from discharging RS. Plus, the treatment required for such a medical condition should have been enough to stop Anuj from insisting the doctor discharage his father. The writers have treated the whole medical condition of RS like a sprained ankle.
At the Seethi residence we see RB in bed with an IV. Who the heck is putting the IV into him - the family? Also RS is paralyzed which means someone is going to have to clean up after him because he cannot go to the bathroom. In these situations doctors put catheters in patients - does RS have one and who is going to change it? Let me add further, RS needs IV medical treatment, consistent monitoring - none of these are available at 12/24 KB.
We do realize that KBs want to heighten the drama by returning the focus to the house but for goodness sake, how much more of our intelligence are these people going to insult? It's an embarrassment watching this stuff.
