I don't want to be presumptuous ... you can check my veracity if you like by going back to my posts ... it could all be sheer coincidence ... but in my very first rewrite of KB 1/2 (that's when I came up with the 1/2 part), I had a scene where all the youngsters ('cept for Anita, 'cause she hated Simi) get together at Abhi & Simi's new pad to make a meal and then sit down to eat it ... so, when something very very similar happened on KB, I got a tad spooked ... then, in my version since Abhi had absconded with Simi and she never had a chance to get a change of clothes, I had her calling Mili and Neetu to pack a bunch of her stuff - just as Momma T. sends to her baby boy and very Syaani (sumujhdaar in Punjabi) dinlaw (but, of course Momma T. forgot to pack some moola ... that woman is not as smart as she looks after all ... I also had Abhi calling the TV reporter friend of his to help get an apartment (which they do, and that's where the meal preparation happens) ... but he's calling a Sachin Tyagi instead and then Omi materializes (that part pulled out of someone's orifice where the Sun does not Shine) ... then, I had suggested that Abhi continue at Dagar Enterprises and Anuj get set up at Taneja Industries ...
So, why did you have to have him tie a knot with Bhalla??!!! Bhalla?!!! Far less intriguing a plot!!! Just one fraught with the total, complete, mindless, dagars of daggers ... y'know, Abhi's flat tires ain't going to come close to all the puncture holes we the viewers are going to have from now on (when we do, let's not head for the hospital with the oversexed goons) ...
And Wow! Anuj gets laid off because he has taken too many days off!! Imagine that!! Didn't we all wonder when anyone ever went to work?!!! And Anita could not bring herself to call Poppa T to fish them out of their latest predicament??!! At least they gave him a month's 'severance' (?) ... but ... how did Bhalla get wind of the fact that his long-lost Saala was going to be soon in the job market and would come hunting him down at 'Chottu's Bar' (he had all the fine details all worked out - right)?!! Oh wait ... I forgot ... there's a strange draught/draft that blows his ways to bring him the latest goings-on ... after all, he knew all about the circus wedding as well and traipsed in at precisely the right moment!!! I guess, an ill wind can blow some good!!

Wait till Daadi Amma gets wind of Tuji's (uh ... sorry ... Neetu-Ji's) late evening sickness ... who never had any trouble getting into her pajamas at the Pink Palace ... but goes to bed decked out just as all the other heroines in the other serials (see Daadi Amma? She does have regard for some of the family rules/regulations/preferences) ... I can just see it ... Neetu's going to have the impertinence to again lock eyes with the elder Dagar ... there will be daggers drawn anew ... and another circus will get underway ... nothing like 'Cirque du Soleil' though ... that is a Soleil (sun) with a completely different Shine ...
