As far as the 10K in bank goes, may be she doesn't have it. I am not aware of the salaries for lecturers but she is there on a temporary basis and is not permanent yet. So, she may not get the full salary a lecturer at that college might be getting.

It was not nice of her to take the money without explaining why she needs .. but thats understandable too because of Neetu's mess...getting preg before marriage is a big issue in Indian society ...and one the word is out, it doesn't take long to spread. In her mind she may be thinking that her family would look so bad in front of Abhi's eyes ... she must have thought, "I will tell him after everything is sorted out".
On the other hand, it was good she didn't tell because Anita spying on Abhi would have heard that.
Abhi is the lone saviour of the Sethi household!!

But it is so stupid to show Abhi as if he is just waiting for the call from Simi in his room? Like Nakul, even i think - What does he do in his room all the day?! They don't even show as if he is working on his research or something.

I think it is possible. RS just owns a shop and huge family. Simi may be taking care of family and manju looks like she always wants to show off. meaning spend more than they have. So simi may not have any savings. They always want anuj to save his money then why not simi. Most parents don't accept daughter's money.

Here is the dialogue-to-dialogue translation of that part -
"I know you and your family are going through so many issues.. you don't worry about money
..I'll get some or the other solution (very soon)..."

English meaning would be -
"I know you and your family are going through a lot of issue right now, don't worry about the money, I will very soon find some solution that would resolve all your issues."

LOL....enjoyed all the posts.......ya i agree Bee,Shanti, Laila the way they show as if Abhi is just waiting for the phonecalls from simi.....doesn't he have any life apart from this.......Abhi start making friends and go out with them...that way its much better for you too and that anita will be saved from her sherlock holmes job.....and looking at the way that anita was running in the middle of the road in that weird way she draped her saree..am sure someone from the mental hospital would put her in their van and take her..........:)

I agree, 10,000 rupees is not such a big amount now even for middle class people in India. How come Simi works as a lecturer and doesnt even have Rs.10,000 in her account? 😲 These serial makers have no sense of reality and no money sense. 🤢
As for Anita I knew she would turn into a vamp as soon as she married Anuj. Why did she hanker for Sethi's FD when shes so rich herself? 😕 I mean her dad is loaded! Why cant she take money from her Dad as Abhi obviously does?
Why cant they show Abhi studying or doing some projects? 😆
