Simi unmarried and 28

Why is it so bad that she is 28 and unmarried?
i hate when people make the girl feel bad for not getting married yet...simi probably thinks its her fault
and that its cause she is fat. She is NOT FAT...whats up with everyone saying , oh you look like you lost weight, or dont eat anything when your with him.
last i heard, guys dont like girls who dont eat anything on their date :$

simi really needs some self-respect...and some self-confidence
i feel that if she was confident a guy would be mroe attracted toward her and see that she is a strong woman

i really dont think it has anything with her being fat...i've fat, not so good looking girls get married before

and i think simi is very pretty...its just maybe if she had some self-esteem :(

plus wore better fitting clothes to show off her curves
and colors that look good on her...unlike that pale purple suit the sisters told her to wear

She isnt fat at all...she's chubby but not fat
she also has a skinny face, which makes her look chubby
she just needs some confidence! she'll find someone eventually :)

I agree 100%..... in this show they're showing that Simi,in spite of being highly educated & a Lecturer,lacks confidence and being the eldest in the family she thinks it's her duty to sacrifice her happiness,her dreams for the sake of her family members.....

i think the point is to show the mothers in india not to do stuff like this
cuz alot of girls in india have to go through what she is going thru .. so maybe its jus to make the parents realize that ur not suppose to do that

well i know simi needs some self confidence... but its so hard staying in delhi being 28 n unmarried n being rejected by so many guys.... i think all this makes u loose confidence in urself.
I can say this cos this is what happened with me.... i was not very slim but not fat for sure... but so many boys rejected me n everyone started pressurizing my parents for my marriage n i was just 24!! But thank god i got an amazing boy later on n my hubby really loves me.... but trust me before i got him... my life was hell.. though my family completely supported me, but people around were enough to make me loose my self confidence!!
