Aamir Khan visited Salman Khan on the sets of Main Yuvraj. The two chatted, leaving director Subhash Ghai to cool his heels for five hours

On Monday, Subhash Ghai was left waiting for five long hours in Filmistan Studios (Goregaon) while Salman Khan chatted with Aamir Khan who dropped in on the sets of Yuvraj. Ghai did not dare to tell Salman to get back to work because Salman was engaged a long gupshup session with Aamir. It came as a surprise to many because the two Khans had differences during the making of Raj Kumar Santoshi's Andaz Apna Apna, and had parted ways.

But what everyone wondered about was the purpose of Aamir's visit. Our source from the sets informs us, "Aamir had come to Filmistan on some work. When he heard that Salman was shooting nearby, he dropped in to say 'Hi' to him."

What was the gupshup about? "That's difficult to say. Nobody dared to go close to both of them while they were talking. The conversation lasted for nearly five hours. Only after Aamir left did Salman resumed shooting," our source adds.

Subhash Ghai

The super success of sequels like Phir Hera Pheri, Krrish and Lage Raho Munnabhai had prompted producer Vinay Kumar Sinha to plan a sequel to Andaz Apna Apna. Now that they've grown-up, wisened up and are friends too, let's hope that the two say 'yes' to this one.

When contacted, Subhash Ghai confirmed that Aamir had indeed come on the sets. He said, "Aamir had come here to invite me for the premiere of Jaane Tu… I was very happy to have him on my set where we also discussed a few story ideas."
