...Don't speak as I try to leave 'cause we both know what we'll choose
If you pull then I'll push too deep and I'll fall right back to you...
'Cause you are the piece of me I wish I didn't need
Chasing relentlessly, still fight and I don't know why...

Chapter 1: Because She Believed Him
She was MAD. Very, very MAD.
He could tell by the way she was breathing heavily. By the way her eyes were slanted like a pair of sharp, thin daggers. And by the way she curled her fingers into a tight airless ball.
"Tum yahan kya kar rahi ho?" "Tumhe to maine class bheja tha, right?!" Though he would much rather stay here; make fun of her, push her buttons and maybe even dump her into a deeper mess than this, he really had to be somewhere right now. So he chose to quickly divert her anger towards a different direction.

So he chose to quickly divert her anger towards a different direction.
"Mr. Class Rep!" "Andhe ho kya?!," she barked at him. "Meri halat nahi dikh rahi hai." "Mujhe sorry bolne ke bajai, meri madat karne ke bajai, mujhe sawal kar rahe ho!"
'Crap,' he thought. 'Wrong direction'
So he had no choice but to follow her direction.
"2 months hue nahi college mein, aur class ka raasta bhool gayi."
"Dekho-"
"Good, very good." "Aise hi chalti rehna." "Ek din iss college ka bhi raasta bhool jaogi. "All because of me", he stated so proudly like he just saved the world from a big oncoming disaster.
"Vardhan sir ne kaha-"
'Vardhan sir!,' he remembered. "Look, can we just not, today?" he offered. "I really don't have time for this right now and mujhe pata nahi tha ki darwaaze ke paas tum ho else-"

"Else-what?!", Sanyukta tackled.
"Maine tumhe push kiya tha, lekin giri toh tum thi, haina?" "So it's not completely my fault." "Vaise toh tum giri hui ho-"
"WHAT!"
"I mean humesha yaha vaha girti rehti ho jaise ki abhi," he corrected himself. He was really running late now.
"Tum kya larkiyon ko darwaaza ke paas "push" karte ho aur larko ke liye darwaaza "kholte" ho!?"
She came a little closer and whispered, "gay ho kya?"
Now it was his turn to reel.
"WHAT!" "Just shut up, okay!"
"No!" "I won't shut up." "Tumhari vajaise saara stacks unorganized huwa hai." "Just look at all this." "It's a mess!"
They were still sitting on the ground surrounded by blankets of white paper oblivious to the crowd of boys watching them with growing amusement.
Somebody courageous enough to approach the wet and angry young girl extended his hand to her.
"Do you need help, Miss...?"
They both looked up.
Sanyukta slightly smiled at the guy offering his hand. He, in return, smiled victoriously at the guy sitting next to her who was by now frowning at the sight of her hand in his.
She was just about to give her name when she felt her hand being pushed away.
"Mr. Randhir Singh Shekhawat"
He introduced himself as he grabbed the guy's hand and stood up. "Thanks, dude."
"Uh, sure." "No problem." The guy backed away, clearly disappointed at being interrupted.
The guy named Randhir turned back to Sanyukta and explained:
"Vardhan sir ne hi mujhe bheja tumhari madat karne ke liye because like everybody knows, girls are helpless." "I mean, just look at you." "Tumhe dekhte hi koi bhi keh sakta hai ki you need help." "Pathetic!"
He was right. She was really feeling pathetic at the moment, about to cry even, but because she was surrounded by a bunch of guys, she held back her tears and tried to get up only to scream out in pain.
"Oww!" "Ouch!" "My leg!"
Randhir's expression softened a bit upon watching her but he immediately cleared his throat and said:
"Dekho, ye tumhara natak nahi chalne wala." "I'm running late." "You think you can fool me with that girly scream of yours?"
"Last time I checked, I was a girl."
"Tum mujhe guilty feel karana chahti ho, right?" "Well, guess what, it's not working!" "Mein yeh papers leke ja raha hoon."
She was shocked. Undeniably in shock. This man was unbelievable!
So she did what she did best. She quickly bent down and picked up all the papers from the ground.
"Main yeh tumhe nahi dungi," she defied.
He huffed in annoyance at how unnecessarily long all this was taking.
"I'm the Class Rep!"
"Class ke andhar" "Filhaal toh hum ek different class mein hai."
"Are you serious, right now?!"
Yes, I am serious and I'm not going to give you the papers jab tak tum mujhse maafi nahi maangte," she stood her ground.
He rolled his eyes and said, "Look, I'm asking nicely."
"Well your face isn't asking nicely."
"Okay, fine." "Tumhe lagta hai ki yeh saab meri galti hain, right?." "So, I"ll just fix my mistake." "Main tumhe nurse ki office tak leke jaunga." "Happy?"
Her grip on the papers loosened as she half limped, half stood there, scrutinizing what he just said.
But wait, there's a catch, isn't there? There has to be.
No. Instead, he simply said, "Chalo."
So she believed him.

In the blink of an eye, she felt him snatch the papers from her hand and run out of the classroom leaving her completely stupefied.
What just happened?
