Anurag: I am sorry for getting delayed.

Mannat sees the marks on Anurag's neck.

Mannat: Yes, I understand. Your marks say that a lady's boyfriend or husband has done that.

Anurag: It was her husband. I didn't know that she was married.

Mannat: I wish he had beaten you more.

Anurag: Thanks. Manik: How was your weekend?

Mannat: It was fantastic. I went to London, Paris, & other places. How was yours?

Anurag: It was rocking. It does not look like you have been to London and Paris. I had a good time with a girl named Laila. 

Mannat: Stop it!

FB:

The dog had been biting Anurag while he was sleeping. He thought it was a lady.

FB ends.

Both go to a seminar. 

Anurag: You are neither sexy nor attractive, but you always have time for me.

Mannat (sarcastically said): Yes, otherwise, I would have died.

Suddenly, he sees a girl & gets mesmerized by her beauty. 

Mannat: She is Prerna. She is a new joinee for my company. 

The girl passes towards him. 

Anurag : Hi, I am Anurag. There is a place for you in my heart, but you can sit behind me right now. 

Prerna smiles.

The speech begins, but Anurag keeps scribbling on the notepad. He then takes the slip & writes, "Shall we go for dinner?"

He passes on the slip to Prerna.

Prerna sees it & replies to it with yes. She passes it to Anurag. 

Anurag sees that & is happy.

At the end of the seminar,  Anurag & Prerna go out for dinner.

At Mannat's house:

Dadi slaps Munni as Sahil falls. Munni had accidentally pushed him.

Munni: Dadi, I am sorry 

Dadi: Couldn't you see that? 

She tries to hit her more.

Jhanvi intervenes.

She said, "It has happened by mistake. She is a kid. You have got to forgive her."

Gaura: When I cannot forgive you, how can I forgive her? 

Jhanvi: What did I do?

Gaura: Don't make me open my mouth.

Jhanvi: I am not afraid. So tell me.

Gaura: You have spoilt Munni. Own child is an own child. If you had not brought her...

Mannat enters. She overhears & the conversation and says, "Enough, dadi."

Jhanvi takes Sahil & Munni.

Gaura: The truth is bitter.

Jhanvi: No one knows the truth. Not even you. 

Jhanvi, Sahil, & Munni go to the room.

She consoles both of them.

Munni: She hates me.

Jhanvi: No, she does hate you. She is only upset.

Sahil: No, Munni is right.

Jhanvi: Never say that. Everything will be correct. God always sends a messenger to solve all the problems. We will pray to God & ask for an angel.

Shivansh is shooting a film. All are excited. Everyone rushes for his autograph.

Mannat joins them in their prayer. She then recollects the incident of bumping into Shivansh on the way. The background song is:

Mannat recollects that she had scolded Sweety about not having any ambitions & only thinking of her marriage.

Mannat: You will marry & have kids. What if your husband leaves you?

Sweety: I will remarry.

Shivansh smiles.

Mannat in mind prays Dear God, Please show some light in our lives.

Suddenly, the light is on in the next flat. Shivansh comes to the balcony & enjoys the snowfall. He looks at everybody. He gets mesmerized by Mannat's beauty but suppresses his feelings.

The sunlight comes. Sahil & Munni see others playing Kabaddi. Shivansh comes there.

He said, "Hello."

Sahil: We don't talk to strangers.

Shivansh: I stay in the opposite building. I am an actor

Sahil: Can we have your autograph?

Shivansh gives them an autograph & gifts them a doll.

Suddenly, he hears the sound of these ladies.

Shivansh: It seems the beggars have come here.

Sahil: She is not a beggar. She is our granny.

Shivansh: Oh, I am sorry. I will stop that.

Sahil: All the best.

Shivansh shouts.

Gaura & the other ladies open the window.

Shivansh: What is going on?

Gaura: We are praying to Goddess Saraswathi

Shivansh: It is not a prayer. It is a torture to the Goddess.

One of the ladies asked, "Who are you?"

Shivansh: I am Shivansh Singh Oberoi. I am an actor. I am staying with my panini & my cousins. If you sing like that, the children here will hate music. I am ready to teach you.

Suddenly, Mannat comes to the room.

She asked, "Why there is so much noise?"

Mannat & Shivansh look at each other. They share an eyelock.

Shivansh hints by gestures to Mannat to come down. The background song is:

Shivansh goes to Jhanvi. He said, "I am Shivansh, SSO."

Jhanvi: I have not imagined such a drastic change in the colony. There was no life here all these days.

Shivansh: I know. The atmosphere has been boring. But from now on, you can expect changes.

Jhanvi: What are your plans?

Shivansh: Marry. Can I marry your daughter?

Mannat gets irritated.

Shivansh (says jokingly): It is Munni. Will you marry me?

Munni: No, you are old for me.

Jhanvi: He is joking. It would help if you did not say that.

She then says to Shivansh, "Don't feel bad."

Shivansh: Not at all. Since I am your new neighbor, can I have dinner at your place at 8 pm?

Jhanvi: Sure.

Mannat gets agitated.

Shivansh leaves.

Mannat, Gaura, & other ladies: What was the need to invite him?

Jhanvi: He had invited himself.

All the other neighbors are excited to see Shivansh in the evening.

The next day

Mannat meets Anurag

Manik: I am in love.

Mannat: With whom?

Anurag: With Prerna. But I am unable to propose to her. I had dinner with her. I never got this feeling for any other girl. But Prerna is different. 

Shivansh comes there for a shoot. He said, "I will help."

He gives his no to Anurag before the shoot.

The shooting starts. Shivansh reaches there.
