Pammi hurried to her daughter and hugged her, after coming out of it, she gave kanya a big push causing the her to fall in the water "mom!, wht the hell!" screamed kanya, pammi then hugged her daughter again and shouted "kya sochri thi?, scared the crap out if me! Why? Why did u run away?". "I did not run away, I left a letter on my table…" replied kanya but got cut by pammi "which said tht u left!, wht were u thinking!" "did u really think I'd leave u" said kanya smirking.
That's when kanya's dadi came, "ur rite princess, she'd definitely find u. pammi, how can u think kanya ran frm there?" said dadi. "wait a minute what is going on??" asked a worried pammi, wht have they planned thinks pammi. Kanya walks over to roy and says "its ur wedding, mom, roy I hope u don't mind, but it's a surprise""and all arrangements are done, so roy if u wanna take off then run!" says dadi. Once the truth sank in pammi cries and hugs her daughter.
The wedding was to be done the Christian way, and the minister was a very dear frnd of dadi
. Pammi was to be dressed in a beautiful white gown, while kanya, the maid of honour, was dressed in the dress tht ranbir dreamt of. Roy chose ranbir as his best man, while dadi,rajiv,ayaan and shruti were the audience. While everyone was getting ready kanya quietly slipped and met roy, "Hi" she said a bit uneasily "hello, quite a nice surprise! Next time do not think of running away" said roy.
"Roy, I was wondering if u could wear this tie" she said, taking out a parcel "I bought it for dad, but I think it'll go good on u" and she was about to leave when "kanya, I will definitely wear it. Thankyou, and the ranbir boy, loves u" said roy. Kanya blushed and left to get ready. Meanwhile, ranbir went to meet pammi but met dadi insted, "Namaste"said ranbir and bent down to touch her feet. But typically, dadi stopped him midway and hugged him, "wht did u do to princess?" she asked him. "nothing! Why? wht happened?" asked ranbir "she was always half mad, but u made her completely mad, u knw she is crazy about u, I still have the hope to see her married" said dadi and winked at him. Ranbir stood there…gazing at the sea, when he sees kanya in the dress, ayaan and shruti.
"Princess! Haha!wait and see, college re-union and kunal's wedding!! Tu dekh!, u engraved shorty shruti into everyone's mind" screamed shruti!, "shruti, kanya is rite, u were short, not now!" said ayaan but added tht after a glare frm shruti "Kanya, do u knw ayaan had medicines tht help him grow his mustache" declared shrut conversationally giving a look to ayaan tht said 'this is wht happens to u, if u mess around with me', "oh! Tht, yeah! Every1 at skool knew" said kanya reasonably. "Ha ha ha ha! in ur face!" said ayaan "they already knew! Haha….. wait a minute! The entire skool! Hu? How did it reach them?, I just told shruti recently, how can any1 knw?" asked a surprised ayaan. "oh honey" said shruti while kanya joined for a group hug, "I saw the packet, and checked it out at the chemist!" said kanya"but the BBC broadcaster is ur present gf!" she added in defense, "shruti!!" said ayaan to be shut with shruti kissing him.
Smiling kanya left the 2, when she turned around she was facing ranbir, they smiled "thanks!" said kanya, "for wht?" asked ranbir "u sorted my life out" said kanya, "u knw kanya I want to thank u….because of u I have my life back!...but my real life is wit…." Ranbir was cut off by pammi "kanya r there gonna be fireworks?, because dadi loves them". "Ma… we both made the plan!, there r fireworks!" said a little frustrated kanya,why does her mother always have to destroy moments with ranbir, she thinks.
They leave for the wedding, Pammi walks the aisle followed by kanya. Ranbir just stares at kanya, as if she were the bride, he almost comes forward to be stopped by roy, "not so soon, young man, let me get my missis, then we will worry abt u" tease roy. Kanya smiles and stands behind pammi. They take their vows and r declared husband and wife and kissed (kanya, conveniently turned around muttering "get a room").
Its time for the dinner/reception where the maid of honour toasts.
"to the bride and groom. I never thought this day would ever come.When my dad passed away, my mom was broken, she was completely devasted, and I prayed for a miracle and it happened. Roy. Thanks for entering our life, u put my mom's heart together, and I take this opportunity to apologize for how I behaved with u. the truth is I was thankful u came to my life, I cant accept anyone except my dad as my dad, but as some say (she smiles and looks at ranbir, then to dadi) miracles happen, they make ur wish come true. I witnessed a few miracles myself, Be it flying as a bird, or saving urself frm doom, it happens. Ur the miracle in my mother's life, u don't have to be my dad to take his place, but ur a dam good substitute roy. Trust me what u have seen of me all these day is just that wht of me being a brat, I get worse. So, on this important day of my mother's life I want to say just one thing Welcome to the family Roy".Her speech was ended with applause, when roy got up and gave her a card that said, 'to the best daughter'. Kanya smiled and for the first time in 5 years she got the hug she yearned for, the hug of a father
Kanya smiled and excused herself, whe ranbir followed her. Kanya was standing on the beach, with the wind playing with her hair and tht perfect smile, innocence and maturity, with the moonlight smile making her glow silver. The kanya in his dreams, remembers ranbir. He walks and stands beside her, she turns around and says "the wedding was beautiful, and u should take full creadit for it", "why?" asked ranbir, "u showed me the correct path, u did a lot for me"she replies "and u did the same for me, u knw"he said.
"I knw, I rock!" said kanya smiling, with a twinkle in her eye. Ranbir holds her and hugs her tightly and "u knw u could rock my world!, u managed to stick to me chipkali" he said grinning down at her. "well that's because ur a saand, and chipkalis and sands are always attracted" she teased back.ranir whispers "never thought i'd say this but i love u, kanya and i want u to be with me for the rest of my life" kanya then says "ahh. mr nanda, as they say, no life without wife. i love u too ranbir,i dont knw how?, when, why, but i know one thing, i can see myself with u for the rest of my life, i love u."
They both stare at each other and come closer and closer till they can breathe the other's breath.
Their lips part and touch each other's, their lips clasp again and are locked. Kanya puts her arms around ranbir's neck and he wraps his arms around her neck. He deepens his kiss, and she responses to him with passion, both unleashing their hdden monsters of lust for each other, purring with every second in this kiss.
That's about when the fireworks started.
