Roy said. "O! hello kanya, u look terrible, wht happened at work?" to which kanya replied "work was Ok, wht r u doin here?". "Ur mother wanted to discuss sumthing abt the wedding, she, I guess changed the location, anyways she just called, on her way," replied Roy. "Right, im going to my room im dead tired, bye" said kanya, "Eat sumthing…wait have cornflakes with cocos, pammi told me u love these, I bought both rig…" roy was cut off by kanya "yaa ! I enjoyed them cuz dad used to feed me, now its no longer…" who was cut off by roy,"Kanya, u knw the truth ur running away frm it, it will not help, talk to me, Kanya.. KANYA!" Kanya had gone in her room when roy in mid sentence, she thought I hurt his feeling, but I don't care, y is he trying to be dad, im bearing just cuz of mom!, how dare he tell me im not over dad's death!" Kanya's fone rang, she answered it. It was shruti at the other end,"Kanya, ayaan's cuzin is in Mumbai, and he wants us both 2 meet tht bro of his, No excuse, we will pik u at 9pm, be ready, we will talk to aunty if she doesn't let u! bye!"

Kanya just smiled at her bestfrnd, it was typical shruti, never let u talk in case u go against her words, she looked at her watch it was 7pm she had 2 hrs, sleep for 1 hr, or else ur frndz will knw u cried. Kanya tries to sleep but all she could think is abt ranbir, she just met him today, can she have a crush on him..she chuckles, me at least a bit pretty looking have a crush on that jungle(yedi!...u don't have a crush, ur in love!), oh tht ranbir, neend bhi kharab kar liya! So, she just does some work and get ready, she is piked up by ayaan and shruti, who get along with pammi and Roy.

Pammi is disappointed with kanya on her behavior with Roy, she knws its hard for kanya to accept roy, but It was more difficult for pammi to forget anand's memories!, she just wished kanya realized tht she was rong by getting to work after anand's death never helped her to overcome his death, rather run away frm it, kanya's emotional wound is growing bigger and deeper day by day, and when kanya has to face the truth, it will be very big for her to face , she did not knw how to help her daughter and cried for her.

Kanya left with Ayan and shruti, they went to PF restaurant, a restaurant,bar and a live jazz band, if u wanted to dance with sum1 u cud! So kanya enters with the 2 to be greeted by….

Faking, Ranbir exclaimed "Tum!, mere bhai ke saath kya kari ho!" to shruti, " the girl of his dream!" while shruti blushed and ayaan beaming, he introduces "Ranbir, meet the 2 main influencing ladies of my life, Shruti and Kanya, kanya this is my cuzn, malika chachi's son ranbir". ranbir wanting to give her some attitude said, "bechaara Ayaan! Mere bhai!, I approve of shruti, lekin yeh…(pointing to kanya)…. U have an Angel at the same time a devil!", kanya retorted in her strained voice "Shut up!".

Ranbir at once understood tht kanya had been crying. He wanted to see her better so he led all of them to their seat, ayan and shruti sat on 1 side, leavin kanya and ranbir to sit side by side. ranbir can see kanya properly, he saw her tired and knew tht she had a headache, he ordered drinks and very firmly but politely told kanya, "take the drink I select for u" while thinking if she accepts the drink, thn she trusts me. Kanya nodded thinking tht ranbir meant more than tht, but wht, she did not knw.

Their drinks came and after sipping hers, kanya felt better. Ayaan being the perfect loverboi, took shruti to dance, and kanya was left with ranbir, so ranbir decided to strike up the conversation but how?, "Err…." Kanya replied, "Wanna dance?", "sure!" said ranbir feeling relived tht she atleast talks to u after ur first encounter with her. They go to the dance floor, where the band is playing a very romantic and slow dance song.
Ranbir puts his arms around kanya's waist, he feels her sleek but delicate body, while kanya feels the whirpool back! This time more stronger, she locks her arms around ranbir's neck, they stare at each other, while ranbir decides lets make the situation a bit lighter," u know if any1 saw Ranbir Nanda with a girl in a jazz club they will go to a mental hospital, since they wont stop laughing!" said ranbir. "Oh y??, because ur a terrible dancer" said kanya and steps on his toes rather hardly, "OW! U physically beat a guy a lot u knw tht naa?", still on his toes and holding him titer, kanya replies "lisn ranbir, im here because of ayaan and shruti, but im very tired and I don't have the energy to fite with you". "Dikhta hai, u r tired, but not because of work, ur running frm sumthing, so just be shh.. and get over this dance!" said Ranbir,they are in an eyelock while ranbir thinks, kaash yeh mujhe gale lagaati. Kanya sensing wht his request is, puts her head on his shoulder, and he tightens his grip around her waist( she is still on his toes btw), and she hugs ranbir titer. Instead of dancing arnd the room, they stand on 1 spot and move to and fro

Ranbir feels tht "sumthing"only with kanya, he feels he needs this hug everytime, every minute of the day, her tuch, her skin, her breathing, her expressions when she fought and was annoyed with him, when he was disturbed frm his sleep, and seeing kanya worried, to becoming soft and then to mad, the kanya in his dream, he wanted all this every minute of the day, only then will his day makes sense to him!The way ranbir was holding kanya, she felt protected, without caring of the world she closed her eyes, and kept "dancing" with him
