Chapter 8

3 months later…

          Angad, Kavya, and Neev have been taking good care of their wives, who are a little over three months pregnant now. Kripa, Anjali, and Prachi have been forced by their husbands to take maternity leave as of last week so that they can take care of themselves at home. It is currently the weekend, and the guys have decided to take a day off of work to spend some time to hang out with everyone like they all used to before life happened. Neev suggests watching a movie at home and ordering some food, which sounds like a well-rounded plan to all.

Everyone comes over to the Khanna House, while Naina and Dilip have been invited over at the Sharma House to have dinner. The gang all gathers around the television, getting comfortable with their significant other on the couches. The lovebirds all grab their own loveseat, with the wives leaning back against their husbands' chest. Angad asks, "So Kavya what'd you bring to watch?" Kavya says smiling evilly, "Disturbia" Angad and Neev give him an approving nod, while girls try their best to hide their fear.

As soon as the movie starts Kripa whispers to Angad, "Baby can you get me some ice cream?" Angad nods kissing her forehead, "Sure Krips" Kripa pulls him back, "Wait! I want chocolate syrup on it too!" Angad nods and starts to get up, but stops as he hears her say, "Also could you heat the chocolate syrup… like make it really hot!" Angad looks at Kripa cocking an eyebrow like she is nuts, but then simply nods. Kripa stops him again saying, "Oh oh! Could you also put a cherry on it and also some of yesterday's brownies! Umm and maybe some chocolate sprinkles…umm okay I think that's it, Thanks babe!" Angad looks at her with wide eyes and then just darts out the room before Kripa decides to add something else to the list of ingredients. Angad thinks to himself, "What ever happened to old fashioned PLAIN ice cream…women!"

 Anjali sees Angad bringing Krips a whole brownie sundae and decides to bug Kavya to bring her food as well. Anjali whispers, "Kavya could you bring me some food too?" Kavya, who is way into the movie, says in an irritated tone, "Anju just get it yourself…" In a split second, Kavya realizes what he just said and his head snaps back to Anjali. Kavya quickly adds, "I-I w-was only joking… really! What did you want to eat Anju?" Anjali glares at Kavya, while he hopes for his life that she disregards his moment of stupidity for the sake of food. Anjali said, "I want some cake!" Kavya says slowly, "Umm I don't think they have cake here Anju…" Anjali glares, "You don't think they have cake? Well how about you GO CHECK instead of making stupid assumptions!" Kavya sprints out the room cursing Anjali's mood swings. Kavya checks the fridge and sadly, enough there is no cake. Kavya hesitantly walks back to Anjali and whispers, "There isn't any cake here Anju…" Anjali says, "Well there is some at home so go get me some!" Kavya looks at her as if she is crazy while saying, "Home? You want me to go home to get cake?" Kavya sees enough of her glare to get up and run out the door to get her the cake.

Now after Prachi sees Anjali and Kripa devouring their food Prachi turns to Neev. She whispers, "Will you get me some chips?" Neev nods and hands her the bowl on the table. Prachi looks at Neev annoyed and says, "No Neev I want really spicy chips! These are too bland!" Neev sighs and goes to the kitchen and comes back with three different types of chips. Prachi shakes her head saying, "No Neev I want spicy chips! These are all disgusting!" Neev looks at her weirdly, "But yesterday you ate two huge bags of potato chips!" Prachi looks at Neev annoyed and says, "Well now I want SPICY chips!!" Neev panics and runs to the kitchen. He grabs some seasoning and dumps a bunch of it in the chips. He gives it to Prachi who seems quite delighted with the mixture. Prachi offers Neev a taste and he nearly vomits at the awful combination. He cannot help but stare at his wife in disgust while she happily eats the sickening chips.

The guys are barely able to enjoy the movie because of all the running around due to their wives' cravings. The guys are quite disappointed that their wives aren't at all the terrified and actually enjoyed the movie. Soon the pizza arrives after the movie and as soon as the girls catch sight of the pizza, they all sprint in different directions straight into a bathroom and start to vomit. The boys quickly run after them to make sure they feel alright. Eventually the girls come back into the livingroom. Angad says, "Okay lets eat!" The girls make a disgusted face and announce they can't eat pizza. Prachi says, "Eww I feel like I'm going to vomit! I can't eat pizza!" Neev asks, "But I thought you wanted pizza… you girls said to order it before the movie started…" Anjali interrupts, "Yea but that was like an hour ago! It's making me want to hurl, get it away!" Kavya looks shocked, "But I thought you loved pizza…" Kripa says, "Guys we do like pizza, it's just right now it makes us want to vomit all over again!" Angad asks, "Ok so what do you guys want?" The girls say together, "We want to go to a Chinese restaurant!" The guys sigh and they all grab their coats to go to a restaurant.

 As soon as they arrive at the restaurant, they are quickly seated in a large group. A young waitress comes to the table and looks seductively at the boys and shoots annoyed glares at the girls. The woman speaks to guys saying, "Hi what can I get you guys and your sisters?" The boys spit out their water and quickly turn their gaze to their wives, who are having a glaring contest with this woman. Neev gets a deathly glare from Prachi and quickly says to the waitress, "They're our wives, not our sisters!" The woman eyes the girls saying, "Oh sorry my mistake, it's just you all look so much alike. Just like brother and sister!" The girls are ready to retort, but are cut off by the mention of food. The boys start to check out the waitress only to annoy their wives, but as soon as they catch sight of their wives' intense glare they quickly turn their gaze to the menu instead. After everyone gives their orders to the tramp of a waitress, she still continues to flirt with the guys. Kripa snaps at the woman, "Could you stop eyeballing my husband and get our **** order!" Angad smirks and bites back his laughter as he hears Kripa's possessiveness. The waitress looks quite offended and stalks off. Angad mumbles to the guys, "I bet she will spit in Kripa's food for that!" The guys laugh while the girls continue to glare and slump back into their chairs.

When the food arrives, the girls quickly dig in as if they had been starved for months. The boys can only watch the girls shove food down their throats as if their life depends on it. Kavya whispers to the guys, "Do you think we eat like that?" Angad and Neev suddenly look sick to their stomachs, "I hope not! I don't know how they could have married us if we did… They are eating like there is no freaking tomorrow!" Kavya whispers, "Shhhh don't let them hear you or that piece of chicken in their hands will be us!" The guys attention quickly snaps onto their own food and they start eating, trying not to look at their wives, who are acting like hungry wildebeests.

The waitress comes back asking the guys, "Do you guys want anything else?" The boys awkwardly shake their heads 'no'. The waitress whispers to the guys, "If you ever get rid of your wives, give me a call!" The boys look at her worriedly and then back at their wives who are holding onto their butter knives tightly. Anjali says, "WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY?" Kripa says angrily, "LADY HOW ABOUT WE TAKE THIS OUTSIDE?" Prachi adds, "You're really starting to piss me off YOU *****!" Everyone turns their attention to Prachi, who would normally never say such a thing to anyone, like EVER. Neev slowly says, "Prachi you called her a…" Prachi snaps, "I know what I called her!" Kripa adds, "Hey you wanna piece of me? Come on chump!" Angad quickly grabs onto Kripa before she lunges herself at the waitress. Angad whispers, "Krips you're pregnant! I don't think it's the ideal time to be trying to pound her face in!" Anjali notices the woman is still standing there dreading her life as she looks at Kripa. Anjali yells, "Why the hell are you still standing here? SHOOO FLY SHOOO!!" The waitress darts out of there.

Kripa, Anjali, and Prachi start laughing sadistically. Kripa says, "Oh man that was sick! I never felt so good telling someone off before!" The girls walk towards the car, leaving the boys to talk amongst themselves. Kavya whispers, "Was that a cackle? Where they just cackling? These girls are starting to freak me out with their mood swings!" Neev says grinning, "Speak for yourself, I never saw Prachi that mad before… is it wrong to be turned on by that?" Angad laughs, "I think we all got turned on by that little ahem display of affection… If they weren't pregnant I would gladly have unleashed Kripa onto that waitress. God that waitress was annoying!" Kavya laughs, "You're telling me, she kept twitching her eye at me…" Neev looks confused while Angad laughs, "Dude she was trying to wink!" The guys all laugh and join their sadistic wives by the car, giving them a long passionate kiss to thank them for the pure entertainment.

As days the progressed, the guys were able to take care of their wives and had to ensure them of their undying affection all the time. The only thing that got them through their wives' tantrums would be the fact that they were completely responsible for their state, that their wives would have to go through immense pain to bring their children into this world, and that they were doing this all for their future, their very own children.

Yes, so like I said I kept my promise about updating daily-- i decided to update early cuz well im gonna go c Chak De India (God I love SRK!!) BUT that so does not mean that you guys should stop commenting! Now if i don't see more comments, i will hold off posting tomorrow! Just so you know I finished writing the whole thing already so it's really up to you guys when I post, okay! --- guys don't make me not want to post tomorrow arite--- just comment plz!
