Chapter 33

 

             Now the days are coming closer and closer towards their graduation, along with prom as well. In fact prom happens to be only a week away, not only that but their engagement happens to be the day right after prom. Busy weekend that's for sure! Angad knows he has to somehow get Kripa to break off the engagement since the last thing he wants is a forced relationship and especially not when he loves Kripa like crazy. He has self respect and pride, so if he marries Kripa he would not only feel guilty about it, but also feel like his own love has been disrespected. He can't have that now could he?

             It is now the following morning after the birthday party and Angad wakes up bright and early to leave for college. There is no special reason, only that he could barely get any sleep and the last thing he wants is to encounter Kripa when he is super pissed off. He just wants to avoid any awkward conversations until he is able to put his plan in motion. Yes, last night Angad had come up with a plan to get Kripa to break the engagement with him, now he only hopes it works.

             Kripa wakes up to find that Angad has already left for college and this csme as a total surprise to Kripa. Kripa is basically dying to tell Angad she loves him, but wants to make it special, in her own way. She thinks prom would be the best occasion to confess her feelings because it would make it memorable night forever. Kripa feels really horrible about putting Angad through so much pain, but she knows that it will all be worth it for him in the end. She could barely sleep last night thinking about being married to Angad, he is perfect in every way. She knows that they are perfect in every way and wonders why she was so scared before to accept his love. She had gone to such great lengths to cause him pain, but it is unintentional of course. She wants to salvage whatever was left of their relationship.

Kripa eventually gets to school and weirdly enough Angad and Kripa don't exchange one word with each other. They sit next to each other in class; however, they barely acknowledge the other's presence. After class, the gang congregates outside the classroom. Eventually they start walking towards the cafeteria together and relax there. They are all sitting at one table; however, the girls are sitting bunched together and the boys together. The girls start discussing the upcoming school event. The boys are just listening to the giddy girls discuss their plans and that's when it hit Angad. PROM!!! He realizes how close it is and knows exactly when to put forth his plan. Kripa is just staring at Angad, but he is completely oblivious to this, well for a while anyways. Then when Angad finally notices Kripa's stare, he stares back coldly. While a furious Angad continues to look at Kripa, he yells in frustration, "SIMONE!" A pretty girl turns her head and walks swiftly towards Angad wearing not enough clothes like she is the hottest girl on the planet!

Now Simone is pretty, she really is, but also in a more s***tish way! She is rich just like the entire gang; however, her priorities seem to lie in her outward appearance more than actual intelligence. So basically she is a total brainless idiot not to mention she is a total w****! Kripa knows for a fact though that Simone's beauty is nothing compared to her own, call it arrogance, but everyone knows it is true. This fact, however, doesn't change the fact that she is so totally jealous. Kripa turns her head and notices little miss fake boobs make her way towards Angad and boy is Kripa upset. When Simone finally makes her way to Angad, he pulls her onto his lap. Angad half glances towards Kripa and smirks at her enraged face. He asks Simone rather loudly, claiming the whole gang's attention, "Wanna go to prom?" Simone giggles and side glances at Kripa evilly while seductively replying, "Of course hottie!" Angad then continues to whisper things into Simone's ear, now completely ignoring Kripa's presence, yet grinning widely inside. Angad knows that it is working; he wants Kripa to become so upset with him that she can't go through with the engagement. Kripa looks at the sight of Simone on Angad's lap, getting a little to friendly with him and feels completely disgusted with Angad. Kripa wishes, if only Angad knew the truth!

Kripa walks off huffing and puffing as the whole gang looks on in total shock! The whole group has been switching views back and forth from Angad to Kripa and Kripa to Angad, watching their reactions closely. They can all tell that Kripa is really hurt by Angad's actions and that she is absolutely jealous. It is rather shocking for everyone that Angad just asked Simone out when he is supposedly head over heels in love with Kripa. Kavya is pissed at Angad at the moment and the others aren't quite fond of him either at the moment. As soon as Kripa left and Simone has gotten off his lap to join her little click again, Kavya starts hounding Angad with questions, "ANGAD WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT? I THOUGHT YOU LOVED KRIPA!" Angad calmly replies, "Correction I LOVE Kripa, present tense! And I do, but she said she doesn't okay guys so why should I wait around for her to figure it out! Plus you all saw what she did yesterday!" Everyone is kind of lost at this point so Neev speaks up, "Dude what are you talking about???" Angad looks astonished, "Guys you were all there! Anju you know what I'm talking about rite…" Anjali replies, "NOT… a word!" Angad sighs loudly rather annoyed that his friends were so into themselves last night to notice. He replies, "REMEMBER how she said yes to the marriage!" Everyone nods and Angad continues, "WELL I DON'T WANT PITY FROM HER OKAY!" Everyone looks at Angad shocked because everyone can see how much Kripa is hurting just now. Angad then storms out, not waiting for the others to side with Kripa. Everyone yells, surprisingly at once, "YOU IDIOT…." They all look at each other and start laughing, they all think alike. Now if only Angad and Kripa were on the same page…sigh

Kripa on the other hand, is fuming with anger. She is angry that Angad could just ask Simone right in front of his soon to be fianc. Oh she is so furious, very furious indeed. Kripa had been hoping Angad would ask her to prom, seeing as how apparently Angad is in love with her, but uhh… this is not what she expected. Well this scenario is now totally out of the question thanks to Simone. So now Kripa is going to have to fly solo at prom. The thought does strike her to make Angad jealous, but she thinks it would cause him more pain and heartache, which is why she rejects this plan. Kripa knows by Angad's side glances that he is doing this intentionally, with the sole purpose to make her jealous or an even worse motive. Kripa knows him all too well, the flaunting of his totally gave it away. What Kripa needs now is a plan and she has to come up with one in the week that she has until prom. Everything has to work out because if she knows Angad, then he would definitely try to break off their engagement plans on prom night and she isn't about to let that happen.

Back at home Kripa calls all the girls to her bedroom, the girls being: Anjali, Prachi, Mukti and Aaliya. Kripa then asks Anjali, who is the more aggressive one when it comes to getting what she wants, hence showing up during Kavya's date and proclaiming her love. Anjali looks at Kripa quizzically, "What do you need help with Kripa?" Kripa slowly looks down while blushing slightly, "I'm in love with Angad!" The girls nod slowly and calmly reply, "WE KNOW!" Anjali jumps off the bed and shuts the door to Kripa's room. Then in hushed voices Anjali tells Kripa the perfect plan to get her man, but it would not have been easy. As Anjali whispers the plan, Prachi gasps while Kripa, Mukti, and Aaliya grin devilishly. Kripa high fives Anjali screaming, "YOU ROCK!!!" Prachi giggles at the girls and says, "You guys will never change!" This is followed by the girls screaming, "NEVER!!!" They all start laughing while Kripa can't seem to stop smiling thinking, "Angad you're mine…"

lol ok so i'll post replies to comments after i'm done responding!! LEAVE COMMENTS and hopefully i will post tomorrow! but i have to write it tomorrow and im pretty sure I'm hanging out with friends since its MY LAST DAY OF HIGHSCHOOL EVER!!!!!!! im soo excited! anyways i will post tomorrow but might be kinda late at night k!
