Part 23


Kripa walked back, to find jay waiting a the door, J- where were you I was looking for you, K- oh I was um nothing, come let's go back in, J- after you and though both entered the hall again. The rest of the engagement kripa was dancing in jay's arms, occasionally she would glance at angad who was busy with Prithivi and neeve who was sitting with prachi. She kept think about what he said, he was true why did she follow him, could their be a possible attraction between us she said to herself, but only to remind herself, "no way, me with that jerk never, and I've already agreed to spend the rest of my life with jay" she said looking up at him then at her ring, not knowing angad was gazing at her. He knew that she was pondering on what he had said outside; truthfully he didn't know why he said that or why he was acting like this, it was as if he couldn't help but touch her , he had an urge to just push jay out and hold her close to him, wait why was he thinking about her.

Truth was over the past couples of days, ever since her wedding was announced to jay, all he would do at night was think about her, he couldn't help himself, he'd think about anywhere and everywhere, dancing with other girls, partying in the clubs, with mishti. Even when kripa would come to his house with her mum, he would stare at her from upstairs without being caught. It was like he was under her spell, "could I possibly be falling for her" he thought to himself , he looked up at kripa, " I have to find out" and he got up and left the engagement , while kripa stared at him as he walked out the door, feeling as if half her had just left her.


Due to some problems, both families had decided to do the wedding in a month rather three months, jay was overwhelmed, while kripa just smiled and agreed. One night kripa was going to sleep, when her dad called her, D- kripa beti come here. She smiled and walked over to her dad hugging her, D- you don't know how proud I am of you kripa, I know you didn't want to get married, I respect you for listening to us , thank you beta, K- please papa I'd anything for you and mumma I'll never let you down , I love you , she said with tears, D- hey why are you crying, K- I don't want to leave you and mumma, she said hugging her dad tightly, D- aww kripa, you will never leave us, you'll always be with us except , you'll have other responsibilities now, now stop crying and go to sleep okay, kripa nodded and walked into her room falling asleep.

The next day, neeve and prachi organized a small picnic for everyone, only an excuse to see each other, yes they were in love but they were to shy to express it though they both knew they had the same feelings for each other. Angad, neeve, Prithivi, jay, anjali, prachi, aaliya, and kripa all met at the park. The lunch was set up, everyone sat around in a circle , jay, angad, neeve, prachi, Prithivi, and then aaliya with anjali, kripa how ever was too slow (lolz) leaving her no where to sit, J- don't worry sweety, come here he said pulling her into his lap, while she blushed and the other cheered, angad however thought differently ,   that could have been me with her he thought, when he realized what he was thinking " god angad stop thinking about her, what has happened to you, why is she on your mind nearly 24/7".

The boys decided to play soccer, anjali had to leave, so it was only aaliya, kripa and prachi. One team had jay and Prithivi while the other had angad and neeve. And the game began, prachi started to cheer for neeve and angad, while aaliya obviously cheered for jay and Prithivi, kripa on the other hand chose to be quiet and watched. "SCORE!", angad screams scoring a goal he run sliding on his knew pulling his shirt over his head , showing his toned abs, pretending to be a professional player. Kripa on the to her hand can't help stare at his chest, it was doing something to her inside. Kripa came out of her trance when angad winked at her catching her looking at his body, kripa turned around and blushed biting her tongue.


She turned back composing herself, avoiding to even glance at kripa , all of a sudden she felt jay's head in her lap looking at her lovingly , J-I'm so tired m kripa just giggled while neeve when to prachi and aaliya chatted with Prithivi, Angad on the other hand was staring at jay and kripa. J- you know your so beautiful, kripa couldn't help but blush, when jay moved up t her ear to whisper something, causing her to redden and hit him. Jay got up and kissed her cheek, while she continued to redden when she glanced at angad who was looking at her not so happy.

He go up and walked over, A- hey guys I'm off, and walked way , clenching his fist. That night jay had invited them all over for dinner to continue their fun from lunch. They all agreed except for aaliya and anjali who were busy with their own plans. Kripa arrived at last with prachi, they walked into the living room and notice Prithivi and neeve angad who didn't want to be there but was forced by neeve and Prithivi were already there. Angad looked at kripa , she looked pretty in a red kameez, jay walked over to the two, kissing kripa on the cheek, J- you look nice , he said while kripa smiled and said thanks, neeve went up and grabbed prachi , while the rest laughed, N- what , why are you laughing , so what I love her, when he bit his tongue, he looked over to a blushing prachi, who was too shy and hid herself in his neck, the other laughed, N- hey stop making fun of her or else, A- OOOOOHHH sorry Romeo, N- hey you'll know when your in love , A- and what if I'm already in love, kripa instantly looked up at him while he grinned back at her and then moved his gaze back to neeve , Neeve just shook his head, P- what ever forget it, I'm hungry let's eat.


J- I'll get some snacks, he came back with drinks, and chips, with dips, and other sort of food to munch on, kripa picked up a chip and was about to put into her mouth when jay took it from her hand by his mouth, kripa just looked at him stunned while he grinned at her , he was quite romantic today she noticed, kind o making her uncomfortable. The rest were too busy to notice but angad he didn't miss a glimpse, he closed his eyes to settle himself down. A- oh crap , I forgot I have something, sorry gotta go , he said leaving pretending to have fake plans, kripa on the other hand sunk inside , why was he always running away.


Angad went home after roaming around trying to figure out his feeling , eh returned home around 10pm, he noticed the house was empty, he went into his room, and blasted the music on , he fell back on his back on the bed , closing his eyes but only to think about kripa and jay, he kept getting those flashed at the picnic and at the dinner, he tired hard not to think about it, when he realized , kripa was jays not his, he got up throwing the pillow in frustration.

A- no , never, she's mine I have to tell kripa about my feelings before it's late , he said getting up leaving the house. Yep, the slow and confused angad had finally realized his love for kripa. Their fights, their moments, he didn't know how much they meant to him. He hadn't realized till now that he needed her to be with him, around him, he didn't know here presence had cast a spell on him, but what he did know was he couldn't
let her get married, she only belonged to him whether she liked it or not.
