Part 17

"And now she's pregnant" Angad sighed and ran his hands through his hair, he leaned back against the bench and looked up towards the sky, he glanced at the stranger sitting beside him and found him deep in thought, possibly processing everything Angad had just told him, Angad looked forward at the guy's kids playing together, it made him smile for a brief second until the stranger spoke

"She loves you" the guy glanced at Angad who glanced back at him

"Did you not hear anything I said?" Angad replied to him with a small smile on his face, the guy grinned a little and shuffled in his position while Angad shook his head at him

"Of course I heard you, but if you're asking for my opinion then I feel that the reason she's so angry at you for not telling her the truth is because she has feelings for you"

Angad stared at him, the guy was serious, Angad leaned towards the guy and urged him to continue.

"Think about it, before she found out the truth she was fine with you, she actually did love you and as far as I know its quite hard to fall out of love over one night"

"If what you're saying is right then she can't be in love with me because she loves my brother, if as you're saying, that she can't fall out of love with me then how could she fall out of love with my brother?"

"Because" The stranger stopped for a second to check on his kids then looked back at Angad "it was her who put the idea in her head that she loved you and slowly over time she did actually fall in love with you and no matter how much she tells you she hates you, I bet that in her heart, deep down that she does still love you, you just need to get her to admit it"

Angad began to think about his words, the guy placed a hand on Angad shoulder causing him to look at him, the guy nodded his head

"You just need to speak to her"

"But she won't speak to me, she walks out of the room if I walk in" Angad reminded him

"Yeah so make sure she doesn't have the chance to leave, lock both of yourselves in the room if you have to, just do what it takes to tell her how you feel and find out how she feels"

Angad mulled over the guy's advice and realised there was no harm inn trying out what he was saying, Angad nodded his head and stood up

"Thanks for your advice, let's hope it works"

Angad held out his hand

"Angad Khanna, if you need anything ever then just call me"

The guy smiled and shook Angad's hand, Angad took out a card with his number on and handed it to the guy, the guy happily took it and put it in his pocket

"I'll keep that in mind"

Angad smiled and thanked the guy again and turned to walk but stopped, he turned back around

"I never asked your name"

The guy smiled and spoke

"Milind Mishra"

Angad smiled and nodded his head and turned and walked off, as he reached the gates to the park he turned back around and watched Milind play with his children, Angad wished he would be as good of a father to his child as Milind is with his children, he smiled to himself and walked back home.

Kripa had gotten bored in her room and since Angad still wasn't back she decided to go watch TV downstairs, she had wondered where Angad had gone, she wasn't worried she just wanted to know how he felt about her having his baby, she was still watching TV when she heard the front door open, Angad was home, she prayed he would go upstairs and not in to the living room because it would mean she would have to walk out, but what she didn't want to happen did happen.

The door opened and in walked Angad, she rolled her eyes and turned the tv off and stood up ready to leave, she watched as Angad stood in front of the door, she walked towards the door but Angad just stood there, she cleared her throat signalling for him to get out of the way but he stayed put, she called out his name but instead of moving he turned and shut the door, she looked at him weirdly waiting for an explanation, but what came next shocked Kripa.

"Kripa I want to talk to you"

She stared at him for a brief second and shook her head

"I don't want to talk about anything with you Angad, now let me leave"

She tried to push past him but he gripped her arms and made her look at him

"You're not leaving until I've finished"

"What the hell is wrong with you Angad!"

Kripa released herself from his grasp and tried to leave but Angad was adamant, he held his ground and left no gap for Kripa to go past, she gave up and folded her arms and looked at him

"Fine, what is it?"

"What did I do wrong Kripa?"

She wasn't sure what to say, she stared at him as his angry stare softened in to a saddened face, he looked up at her and repeated the question, she shook her head slowly not understanding his meaning, he sighed

"What exactly did I do wrong by falling in love with you? What grave mistake did I commit that you're punishing me like this? Just tell me this so that I can understand why you haven't spoken to me in the past 2 months"

Kripa stepped back and sat on the sofa, she seriously did not have the answers to Angad's questions, at first she hadn't spoken to him because she was angry at him for not telling her the truth but as the time went by she had slowly stopped blaming him for not telling her the truth but didn't speak to him out of habit, maybe even she wasn't ready for the confrontation they would both have.

Angad walked towards her and knelt before her, he took her hands in his and forced her to look at him before speaking again

"I don't want to lose you Kripa, I've already lost my brother and if I lose you then I won't be able to go on"

A lone tear fell from his eyes causing Kripa's eyes to well up too, she knew the expression on Angad's face was genuine, she reached out and wiped the tear away and touched his cheek gently

"Angad I've forgiven you for not telling me the truth"

Angad's face suddenly lit up, he smiled and stood up still holding Kripa's hand, she also stood up, he moved forward for a hug but Kripa stopped him

"I've forgiven you but I don't know if things will ever be the same between us as they were before I got my memory back"

The smile disappeared and she knew she had probably broken his heart again, she reached out and kissed his cheek softly and stepped back away from him

"I just need time Angad"

He nodded his head in agreement and told her to take all the time she wanted, he kissed her cheek and sat on the sofa, she walked towards the door and opened it, she turned to look at him and saw him staring at the tv but deep down she knew he was battling a sea of emotions, she turned and headed upstairs to her room without looking back at him again.

Kripa sat on her bed holding Aditya's photo in her hand, she looked at him then glanced at the photo of Angad hanging on the wall, things were complicated and she didn't know what to do, she no longer blamed Angad for not telling her she loved Aditya and not him and she no longer blamed him for falling in love with her, she of all people knew that falling in love was something that just happened without the person knowing, it had happened with her and Aditya and now it was happening with Angad, but before she was happy that Aditya and her were in love but now she felt if she gave herself permission to fall in love with Angad that she would be betraying Aditya, Kripa frowned and lay on her bed clutching Aditya's photograph, only time would tell what would become of them both.

Hey everyone, I'm really sorry for the delay, and sorry if the part is a bit crap....i tried to make it as good as could...so anyways plz do comment....note theres three more parts left before this ff ends

Coming up - 2 months later....Kripa is 4months pregnant....have things changed between her and Angad at all?
