Recap
Sia has a heart to heart with Agni and finds out how he has been ill treated by Dharam just because he was the son of the maha mantri and Maharaj also gave him equal love of a son. Sia feels sorry for him and even more hatred for Dharam. She discusses with Ananya who doesn't want to believe Agni but Sia is adamant.
Now she meets Agni again and she asks him about Veer and Sakshi. He says he doesn't know them very well but Veer is a nice guy and Sakshi is just like Dharam.
All of them are invited to Aryanagar as in honour of Dharam's birthday and coronation there is a mela.
Part 8
Everyone in Sumaina are getting ready for going to the mela. Nivriti enters Sia's room where she is wearing her jewellery and sorting her hair.
Nivriti: wah Sia tum to aaj bohat khil rahee ho. Maana ke tum kabhi bhi Ananya se khoobsurat nahi banogi per tum bhi bohat acchee ho
Sia just sighed and nodded her head with disbelief as her mother always said something like that. It didn't really matter to her that much.
Nivi: ek baat yaad rakhna ke aaj tumhe Rajkumar Harsh ko apne saath hee rakhna hai or onhe khush rakhna hai.
Just then Bhoomi came rushing in still half dressed.
Nivi: hoo Bhoomi yeh kya aise ghoom rahee ho, waapis jao or kapre pehen kar aao
Bhoomi: hame Sia se kuch poochna hai
Nivriti just gruffs and walks out of the room.
Bhoomi: Sia, Sia hame batoa na ke hum yeh peela waala lengha pehne ya to phir yeh neela waala
Sia: yeh kya Bhoomi, pure mahal me aise hee ghoom rahee ho
Bhoomi: are wo choro. Wese bhi yeh hamara mahal hai to hum jaise chaahe ghoom sakte hai. Tum batao to sahi
Sia: (shakes her head) tumhe kounsa waala pasand hai?
Bhoomi: hamne to yeh neela waala pehlese hee pasand karliya hai
Sia: to phir hume poochne ka kya matlab?
Bhoomi: (staring at Sia getting ready and admiring her) tum bohat khoob lagrahee ho aaj. Hame umeed hai Sia ke her waqt mele me tum Agni ko apne paas hee nahi rokhogee. Hame or Sawri ko bhi oske saath waqt beetaana hai.
Sia: are wo to tub hoga jab Rajkumar Harsh hamara peecha chorenge. (frowns and leans on the dresser) onke saath to hame shuru me rehna hee hoga
Bhoomi: onho ne to ham sab ko dhamki dee hai saath rehne kee. Pata nahi kya hoga. Ab hum jaldi jaate hai isse pehle ke wo yaha bhi aajayeh.
She rushes out running excitedly as usual and without looking she crashed into Harsh. She was shocked to stand there half dressed and Harsh was also shocked and felt embarrassed. Then Bhoomi burst out laughing at his state and ran away from there making fun of him. Harsh felt bad and continued walking and then he heard an even louder laughter. Bhoomi went and told Sawri what happened.
Aryanagar
Maharaj Aryavardhan's room
Dharam: pitaji is haalat me hame hamara janam din manane ka koi shoke nahi
Maharaj: hum jaante hai Dharam, per yeh hamaree aakhri khawaish hai ke hum aapko raja bante huwe dekhe
Dharam: (holding Maharaj's hand) aisa mat kaheeye pitaji. Hum to din raat yehi pratna karte hai ke hamaree umar bhi aapko lagjaaye
Maharaj: yeh baat aap bhi jaante hai ke hum kuch hee dino ke mehmaan hai. Yeh hamaree binate hai. (folds his hands in front of Dharam) kya aap hamare liye itna bhi nahi karenge
Dharam: (holding onto his folded hands) nahi pitaji aap hame sharminda mat kijye. Hum aap kee khushi ke liye kuch bhi karsakte hai. Kuch bhi. (he kisses his father's hands)
Veer comes in and sees both of them really sad
Veer: are Dharam tumhe tayaar nahi hona. Kuch hee dair me tumhara raj abhishek honewaala hai (tried very hard to hide his tears)
Dharam: ha hum bus pitaji ka aashirwaad lene aaye the. Aashirwaad dijye pitaji ke hum yeh zimmedaari ko acchi tarhase nibhaasake or Aryanagar kee parampara ko barkaraar rakhsakhe.
Maharaj puts his hand over Dharam's head and then Dharam walks out of the room. Veer stares at the maharaj but doesn't have the courage to face him without shedding tears so also walks out of the room.
Soon it's time for the raj abhishek and Dharam comes into the hall and sits down on the pedestal where the pooja is going to take place. The rituals happen and he is announced as the new king of Aryanagar.
Public: Maharaj Dharam kee jai! Maharaj Dharam kee jai!
He sits on the throne and looks down at the people showing all of them their new king.
The mela
The place was buzzing with rajkumars, rajkumaris, maharajs and maharanis from all over the rajyas. The kids were enjoying already and the elders just enjoyed mingling in and having a chat.
The Sumaina carriage soon arrived and all of them got out. Sia was brought out by Harsh but soon after she took Ananya's hand and both of them walked towards the mela together, smiling. Finally Ananya would be able to meet Veer again.
As they all entered they were greeted by a joyful Veer.
Veer: Maharaj, Maharani, aap sabka Aryanagar me swaghat hai, aaye
he lead the way in and Rajkumari Antara came
Antara: Rajkumari Ananya bari khushi huwee aapse dubaara milke. Ab aap kee tabiyat kesee hai?
Ananya: hum ab bilkul theek hai
Antara: aap ke bina yeh Veer to bilkul ghumsum se hogaye the, hai na Veer?
He glared at her whilst she gave a teasing smile. Ananya blushed.
Veer: ah...um...chale
He wanted to leave before Antara embarrassed him even more. As they walked they saw Sia walking alone so Veer went up to her.
Veer: Rajkumari Sia, aap bhi hamare saath chalye
She smiled and obliged and now Veer walked with two beautiful women by his side. Everyone kept looking and admiring it and some were even jealous of both the girls as they wanted to be in their place.
Harsh saw Antara and wanted to meet her.
Harsh: Rajkumari Antara hum aapko batade ke hume kitnee khushi horahee hai yeh saaree tayaariya dekhke. Sab kuch itna khoobsurat hai ke hame hamaree aakhe haataane ka mann hee nahi karta. Or phir...
He continues praising and boring Antara. She had never appreciated this guy and wasn't going to do now.
Antara: (pretends someone is calling her) Ji aayee! (to Harsh) mujhe koi bulaaraha hai me chaltee hu
Whilst walking, Sia kept searching around for someone. As she walked she was unaware about a pair of eyes who were constantly only on her. She saw many sainiks but Agni was no where to be seen. Then she spotted one of his friends so she excused herself from Veer and went over to talk to him.
Friend: Rajkumari Sia, aap se dubara milkar khushi huwi
Sia: hame bhi
Friend: mujhe mere dost Agni ne aapke liye sandesh bheja hai or mujhe bare dukhse kehna par raha hai ke ose aaj yaha aane se roka gaya hai
She makes a sullen face as she knows the reason.
Friend: darasal ose Shamghar ke maharaj ke paas kuch zaroori kaamse bheja gaya hai per mujhe pata hai yeh to bus ek bahana tha. Ose is afsar me shaamil nahi karna chahte the yeh log.
Before Sia could say anything Bhoomi and Sawri came running to them.
Bhoomi: (to the friend) are tum yaha ho or hum tumhe kabse dhoondh rahe hai.
Friend: Rajkumari Sia, aapki dono behne hum sab larko ke saath itnee ghul milgayee hai ke natija to aap dekh hee rahee hai.
Bhoomi: oho tum Sia se baat baad me karna pehle hamare saath chalo. (pulled his hand and dragged him away from there)
Sia sighed and began looking around and felt a bit lonely. Everybody seemed to be with someone but her. Then she spotted Sunaina by the dolls stall and that brought a smile to her face. She sauntered towards her.
Sia: Sunaina hum tumhe kabse dhoodh rahe the. Hume tumse ek zaroori baat karni hai
Harsh: Rajkumari Sia, anth me aap hame milhee gayee
She makes a face but then forces a smile.
Sia: Uh Sunaina inhe to tum jaantee hee hogi, yeh hai Rajkumar Harsh. Or yeh hai Ramgarh kee Rajkumari Sunaina.
Harsh: hame aapse milkar behat khushi huwi Rajkumari Sunaina. Rajkumari Sia ke saare dost hamare dost huwe or wo bhi kitne pyaare hai
Sunaina is confused by his behaviour and Sia just laughs.
Harsh: Sia, aap hamare saath banjaaro ka naach dekhne chalegee?
She has no choice so she joins him leaving Sunaina behind. As they walk Harsh doesn't see a pole in front of him and crashes against it.
Sia: aakhe khole ke chalye Rajkumar Harsh
He recovers and turns around only to crash into another couple who were not pleased. Then Harsh quickly regained composure and joined Sia.
Harsh: hum hamaree harkat ke liye maafi chahte hai
All this time a pair of eyes kept on looking, at both of them and were quite amused by Harsh's idiotic behaviour. They kept following them and for some reason didn't appreciate Harsh being that close to her. The eyes were observing everybody in the mela, Maharani Nivriti's boastful speeches and her greedy tactics, Bhoomi and Sawri's childish unruly behaviour with the sainiks and then on Veer and Ananya's proximity. That was the main thing the eyes were looking out for. It had increased now as they were not seen apart since Ananya had arrived. Then the eyes set back on Sia and Harsh with a sense of jealousy in them.
Now Sia was getting bored of Harsh and waited for when he'll leave her alone. She was restless and really needed some sort of diversion from which she can escape him. Then she got just the thing, they were passing by the fire eaters who were throwing fire out which created a lot of smoke. She made sure they walked quite closer to them. As one of the guys spit the fire out Harsh got a fright and he fell back a bit. Then there was a lot of smoke which gave Sia a chance to run away from there.
She rushed away before Harsh could locate her again and in that excitement she didn't see where she was going and she collided with someone landing on the ground. She swiftly turned around and was stunned to see the least person she wanted to meet that night. Dharam stood in front of her holding onto his arm as if he was pressing it after the pain from the collision. Both of them kept staring at each other as if they had just met.
Dharam: aap theek to hai na?
Sia: abhi tak to theek hee the
He extends his hand out to pick her up but she declines it and stands up on her own only to trip again but Dharam caught her before she fell. He had her scooped down in his arms whilst they kept looking at each other. For those few moments it was as if the world didn't exist around them and it was just them. She saw something in his eyes which didn't allow her to turn her gaze away. It was some sort of sadness which made her realise that perhaps Dharam did have a soft side after all. Then she remembered his treatment with Agni and her indignant behaviour returned.
Sia: aap hame chore ne ka kasht karenge?
He came out of the trance and released her and this time she stood up straight. Then she grunted and began walking off completely annoyed with his presence but he was not going to let her leave him like this.
Dharam: Rajkumari Sia, agar aap bura na mane to kya aap hamare saath is mele me ghoomengee kuch dair
Sia: hum wo...(there was something in his look which made her change her mind) zaroor, kyu nahi.
Then both of them walk side by side through the mela with her thinking why she couldn't refuse to him? Why did she agree? They walked in silence for some time which was too awkward.
Sia: hum aapko aapke janam din kee badhai dena to bhool hee gaye. Aapko oskee shub kaamnaaye Maharaj Dharam.
He didn't answer and just nodded. She made a face and turned away again seeing he was not much of a company. After some more silent therapy she began again.
Sia: hame yakeen hai ke hum dono me kuch to hoga baat karne ke liye. Thora sa bhi mooh hilaaenge to chalega.
He seems not interested and just stares at her in silence.
Sia: chalye hum hee batadete hai. Aap is mele ke baare me hee baat karsakte hai or phir hum aage barha sakte hai logo ke baare me baat karke.
Dharam: jab kabhi bhi aap kisee ke saath hoti hai to kya istarha se hee baate kartee rehtee hai
Sia: (laughed) ji ha kyu ke osse, baad me kamse kamse baat ke liye jaga rehjaatee hai
Dharam: is baare me kya aap apnee hee rai dena chahtee hai ya phir hamaree bhi jaana chahtee hai
Sia: shayad hum dono chahte hai. Agar aapko lagta hai ke humare beech me kuch bhi aisee baate hogee jo sabko mele me sunai dejaaehgee to phir aap rehne hee dijye (she speaks in a mocking tone)
Dharam: (unhappy with her comment) hame to lagta hai ke yeh aapka darr hai, hamara nahi
Again the silence between them returned as they continued walking through the mela. It was sometime before he broke it.
Dharam: aap kya aksar Malkapur ke bazaar jaatee hai?
Sia: ji ha. Jab aap os din humse mile tub ham naye logo ke saath mil rahe the (on purpose she doesn't say Agni's name because she wanted him to feel bad about it)
Dharam: Agni ka saubhav hee aisa hai ke jise milta hai oske saath dosti hojaatee hai per oske saubhav me aisa bhi hai ke wahi dost phir dushman banjaate hai
Sia: aapke saath oskee dosti toote gayee wo kai guna accha tha aapke saath puri zindagi barbaad karne se.
Just then Devghar's Maharaj Samar Singh came and noticed the two together.
Samar Singh: wah kya jodi hai! Hum aapko batade Maharaj Dharam ke aapne is mele kee sabse haseen cheez ko haasil karliya hai.
Sia seems disappointed and Dharam was also disturbed by his comment.
Samar Singh: asha hai ke yeh jodi hame baar baar dekhne ko milegee. Khaas karke ek sabse khaas moke per, kyu Rajkumari Sia?
He pointed towards Veer and Ananya where he was putting flowers in her hair. Dharam became stiff and his nostrils flared. Sia was a bit embarrassed by Samar Singh's comment.
Sia: darasal aisa kuch bhi...
Samar Singh: (raises his hand) aah...aapko kuch bhi kehne kee zaroorat nahi. Ab hum aap dono ko ziada tar yaha roke nahi rahenge. Aap jaaye warna raat puri hojaaehgee.
Both Sia and Dharam walk off unhappy with Samar Singh and then at each other.
Sia: hame yaad hai aapne kaha tha ke aap kabhi bhi kisee ko maaf nahi karte. Ek baar jo ghalat saabit hogaya to bus wo ghalat hee hai. To kya iska matlab yeh nahi huwa ke aap logo ko chunte hai puree bhere me se?
Dharam: ek hadd tak yeh sahi hai
Sia: or kya yeh bhi nahi huwa ke aap kabhi bhi kisee or kee rai pe nahi chalte kyu ke jo aap ko sahi lagta hai wahi sahi hai? Dusro kee rai koi mayene hee nahi rakhti.
Dharam: bilkul! Hum pooch sakte hai ke yeh saare sawaal aap humse kyu karahee hai?
Sia: (scoffs) bus aapke charitra ko or pehchaanne kee koshish karahe hai
Dharam: (stopped and faced her) to phir kya pata lagaya aapne
Sia: hame bari duvidha horahi hai. Itne saare roop dekhe hai aapke, ke kuch kehna mumkin nahi.
He turned around again and they began walking. Soon they were back at the doll's stall as they had completed their round trip around the mela.
Dharam: is waqt aap hamara charitra najaane kee koshish kare to hee behtar hai. Osse hum dono ko koi fiada nahi hoga
Nivriti was passing by them and couldn't help but listen. She was not pleased to see Sia with the arrogant Dharam.
Sia: agar humne abhi aapko nahi parkha to phir hame kabhi moka milega hee nahi
Dharam: phir to hum aapkee khawaisho ko barbaad nahi hone denge.
He took her leave and both Nivriti and Sia gave him a scornful look behind his back.
Sunaina joined her again after she saw Dharam leave.
Sunaina: lagta hai ke kaafi maza aaya tumhe
Sia: maza? Or wo bhi os kharoos ke saath? Kabhi nahi. Pata nahi os waqt hamne mana kyu nahi kiya or chalegaye onke saath. Hum tumhe bataenge na onhone kya kiya hai, oske baad tum aisa nahi sochogee
She narrates Agni's story to her.
Sunaina: aisa kese hosakta hai Sia? Kya tumhe pura yakeen hai?
Sia: hamare saamne sab kuch saaf hai Sunaina. Balke Maharaj Dharam ne khud humse kaha tha ke ek baar jo insaan onke saamne ghalat hai to bus rehta hee hai. Nafrat hai hame onse.
Sunaina: on me thoree acchai to hogi hee jo onhone is pure mele me se tumhe chuna saath ghoomne ke liye. Maano hamaree baat or socho ke wo itne bhi bure nahi hai jitna Agni ne banaya hai
Sia: insaan kee acchai oske vewaar se chalakti hai. Ab humhe Dharam se koi lena dena nahi hai.
Ananya is standing alone by a stall and Veer comes rushing with a thali of food.
Veer: yeh lijye, aapke liye garma garam khaana lekar aaya hu
Ananya: aap itna haap kyu rahe hai?
Veer: wo me (catching onto his breath) waha per bari bheer thee to andar ghus kar mushkil se laaya hu
Ananya: aapne itnee takleef kyu uthayee? Hum baad me bhi to khaasakte the na?
Veer: isme takleef kee kya baat hai. Kabse aapko bhookh lagrahee thi or aapne mujhse kuch nahi kaha, per phir bhi maine aap ke dil kee baat sunli.
There is an eye locking session between them where Ananya sees how innocent and loving Veer is. He has taken care of her little, little desires and wishes. Something which she always wanted.
Veer: ab aap khaana khalijye, warna thanda hojaaehga
Ananya: aap nahi khaenge?
Veer: aap khaalengee to mera pait bhi bhar jaaehga
That was the sweetest thing a guy had ever said to her and she couldn't help but smile at her good fortune of finding a guy like Veer.
Everyone seemed to have gathered around now in one place where they were eating and just sharing laughs here and there. Veer sat down with all of Ananya's sisters and he had a great time entertaining them with his poetry and them entertaining him with their witty jokes. Sia excused herself and went about when she ran into Antara.
Antara: hamne suna hai ke aapne kuch naye dost banaye hai, jinmese ek khaas hai - Agni? Hum aapko batade Sia ke wo dekhne me bara accha hai per kuch bhi nahi hai. Ek to wo sirf ek maamoolisa sipahi hai or wo bhi Aryanagar ke maha mantri ka. Oske upar osne Maharaj Dharam ke saath accha vewaar nahi kiya hai
Sia: (sardonically) acha? Aakhir aisa kya kiya hai osne onke saath?
Antara: puree baat to hame pata nahi per itna jaante hai ke Agni ne kabhi bhi Dharam kee taraf izzat se nahi dekha or naahi kabhi onhe Rajkumar ka darja diya.
Sia: hame kaafi hasee aatee hai aapki baato per kyu ke aisa to aap bhi karahee hai. Aapne khud kaha ke wo ek maamoolisa sipahi hai or wo bhi Aryanagar ke maha mantri ka. To phir aap ko bhi kisee kee izzat karna nahi aata
Antara: kya matlab? (makes a face at Sia) maaf kijyega jo hum aapki niche zindagee me dhakal derahe hai per yeh aapki bhalai ke liye hee tha. Ab aage aap kee marzi.
She leaves from there. Sia is upset and walks off and Ananya notices it.
Ananya: kya huwa Sia?
Sia: wo Antara apne aapko samjhti kya hai? Agar ose Dharam kee taraf daaree karnee hee hai to phir hame kyu aake batatee hai? Osko kya ke hum Agni se milte hai ke nahi?
Ananya: shaant hojao Sia or hamaree baat suno (she takes her to a quiet corner) dekho humne Rajkumar Veer se Agni ke baare me poocha or onhone bhi yeh kaha ke Agni accha larka nahi hai
Sia: kya wo Agni ko acchi tarhase jaante hai?
Ananya: Maharaj Dharam jitna nahi
Sia: to phir wo to wahi kahenge na jo Dharam ne onhe bataya hai. Hume or kuch nahi sunna, jesa humne socha hai wesa hee hai
Bhoomi: Rajkumar Veer aap ek or kavita sunaye na
Veer: aaj ke liye itna hee. Kyu na kuch sangeet ka bandobast ho, kya khayaal hai
He is about to look out for the banjarans but before that Avantika grabs a sitar from the nearby stall and then sits down on one of the stomps and begins playing it. Sia and Ananya close their eyes and don't want her to embarrass them. They wish so much that she doesn't begin singing and just then she begins and her awful untuned voice fills the air surprising many and many even dispersed away. Sia and Ananya were terribly displeased. Veer just sat down not saying anything as he didn't want to hurt her. Just then Dharam arrived and so did Harsh.
Ananya: are yeh dekho Sia... (pointing towards the two men) Lagta hai Rajkumar Harsh, Maharaj Dharam se milne waale hai. Kya hum onhe roke nahi sakte?
They were too late as Harsh was already conversing with Dharam
Harsh: Maharaj Dharam hame bari khushi huwi ke anth me hame Maharaj Dayavardhan ke bathije ke saath mulaqaat hoheegayee.
Dharam gives him a confused look.
Harsh: humaree zimmedaari hai ke hum aapko batade ke onkee tabiyat paanch dino pehle bilkul theek thee or abhi bhi wo kushal mangal hai.
Dharam: shukriya, per humne aapse poocha nahi tha.
Harsh just gives his clown smile.
Dharam: or aap koun hai?
Harsh: hamara naam Rajkumar Harsh hai or hum....
Dharam is not interested at all and walks off leaving Harsh standing there. He doesn't really feel bad that Dharam left and just feels it was his right to do so. Sia pouts with anger after seeing his behaviour and as he passes her she gives him the look.
Dharam goes and stands near Antara looking down upon Avantika and her foolish performance. Avantika's father has covered his eyes with his hand as he can't believe she is putting up a show like this. Then thankfully she finishes and they all manage to give her a weak applause. She gives them a geeky smile and then to their horror she begins again. Sia's eyes became wide and she gestures her father to stop her before she put them down even further. He got up quickly and went by Avantika's side.
S.M: ab hame lagta hai betee ke bohat hochuka. Kyu na or Rajkumariyo ko bhi apna hunar dikhane ka moka mile?
She understood the understatement in that and she left the sitar and walked off with him. Seeing her like that made Sia upset too.
Harsh: agar hume nritya ka anubhav hota to hum to zaroor wo sabke saamne dikhaate. Wese sangeet me aisee baat hee hai jo kisee ko bhi sikhaadetee hai.
He is attempting to go for the sitar but the musicians get the cue and they take over quickly and begin playing professionally.
Nivi is sitting around with her group of friends.
Nivi: yeh Rajkumar Harsh kitne samajhdaar or budhimaan hai. Ore maze kee baat yeh hai ke onhe hamaree Sia pasand aagayee hai or hame nahi lagta osse behtar onhe koi milega
Sia hears that and is appalled.
Nivi: pehle to onkee nazar Ananya pe hee thee per waha to Rajkumar Veer pehlese the to...
Veer turns around with surprise at how Nivriti was publicly displaying their relationship which hadn't been officially announced yet. How could she do that?
Dharam also stared at Nivriti and couldn't be more disappointed.
Nivi: ...ab wo to accha rishta banega or shaadi bhi bari khoob hogi. Or ha iskee wajese hamaree dusri baiteeya bhi unche raj gharaane kee taraaf dhakail dee jaaehgee
She cackles.
Sia doesn't know how to react but to feel like everything is over, their reputation, everything. And to make it worse Bhoomi came running around with one of Agni's friends chasing her. She had taken something of his and now was up to her old tricks. She ran across and over people creating a mess and now Sia just wanted to bury herself in the ground. This was the tip of the iceberg. The evening had begun with a happy note and had ended in a disaster and her three foolish sisters were responsible for it.
