PART 14

Kripa feel strong hands take hold of her before she fell to the ground she lifted her head to look upon the face of her Savior. She found Angad looking at her with mixture of surprise and a bit of anger, they shared only a moment of eye contact in which they forgot about everything outside of their room.

But it did not take long, Angad recovered first, he laid her down on the bed, not bothering to be too gentle with her. Kripa got a quick glimpse of his face before he turned around, it was amazing how quick he had transformed his face into intense anger unlike anything she had seen before, she was worried and scarred. What was she going to say if he asked her about what she was doing on the stool.

"…Angad" She said touching his hand slightly.

Angad moved his hand swiftly so that it was no longer touching her hand, Kripa looked to the ground feeling slightly guilty, "Angad … I am … I mean I didn't mean to... I was just…I am really sor…"

"Please Kripa you don't have to give me any explanation, after all who am I to tell you what to do, you can do what ever in the hell u wish."

"Angad I didn't mean to…"

"Yes ofcourse you didn't mean to…mean to what not listen to me or not mean to get on that stool despite knowing how weak you are…or didn't mean to think about what would happen if you fell off and I hadn't been there to save you."

A tear dropped down Kripa's cheek, "I didn't mean to upset u I just thought that I shouldn't trouble u with any of my jobs." She said her voice muffled.

"Yes now go ahead cry, first you make a mistake then u cry is that all you know how to do!"

Kripa sobbed, with tears flowing down her cheek like a never stopping water fall.

"Fine then go to hell do what ever you want!! I can't deal with you anymore!" Angad walked out of the door slamming it behind him. Kripa settled down a bit after he left sobbing at regular intervals, it was just way too much for her too handle first her brother and now Angad. She had been so scarred when he had walked into the room.

That was her greatest fear that one day he would find out of who she was. She wasnt afraid that she would die, she didn't care about that but she was afraid he would leave her forever. She loved him now more then she had loved anyone.

She knew he didn't love her and probably never would, but she couldn't bear be away from him. He was the closest she had ever known anyone to get to her. He was the only one who had truly cared about her, and not because he was after something.

Angad was pacing in his room angrily he wasn't so angry at Kripa as he was at himself. It was not fake anger or fake care that had appeared in his heart and mind those few moments. It was real and that was what scared her. He knew who she was, he knew her brother.

He knew what he was, he knew the reason why he had kept her in his house for so long. Yet he did not know why those feelings of care and anger had suddenly flamed in his heart it was the feelings that he had long learned to suppress. Even now as he paced his room he couldn't stop worrying for her, her crying face kept looming in his mind, unwilling to disappear.

He was sure now that he was not simply attracted to her just as he had been attracted to countless women. It was something more, something he did not quite understand. It was many feelings mixed and mingled with fear. What was he afraid of Kripa? No he wasn't afraid of Kripa, he was afraid of losing her!

Angad entered Kripa's room after about half an hour of their little fight. The dried tears were clearly visible on her cheek. Her soup was untouched, she had a book in her hand but it was clear that she was only looking at it and not taking in a word, because it was backward.

"If you really want to pretend to read at least turn the book the right side up." Kripa jumped, startled hearing his voice.

She looked up at him, he sat down next to her, "I am sorry Kripa, I shouldn't have said all of that."

She shrugged, "I guess what you said was true, it was my fault…its always my fault." She was staring intently at the book lying in her lap she could not bear look at Angad, Angad didn't say anything, she continued "But I was surprised you didn't ask me what I was doing searching the top of the file cabinet."

"Did u want to tell me?"

"No I would have probably lied if you asked." she said her voice calm and eyes fixed at her book

"Why are you telling me this now?"

Kripa shrugged, "I am tired of telling lies." This time she looked up at him he was much too close. Was he that close when he had sat next to her? Maybe it was just an illusion but was he coming closer and closer to her as each second passed. Angad touched her face detracting from it a hair of her eyelash, he put it on her hand.

"Make a wish."

Kripa smiled, "do wishes come true?"

"Only god knows but there is no harm in asking them, you never when you might get lucky."

NEXT PART: I wont tell you but its probably going to be the most romantic part in this FF.
